Lovely rooms, comfy beds and a cracking breakfast combined with a nice welcome from Peter and Sally. I've stayed here on a number of occasions after watching Tranmere Rovers play (which can be a depressing experience sometimes) and it's always good to get to the comfort of Pendragon.

We have stayed at Pendragon on numerous occasions when visiting our relatives on The Wirral. The rooms, breakfast and our hosts, Peter and Susan, are excellent. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated. In our opinion, this guest house is superior to all hotels and B & B 's we have stayed in across the UK. Thank you...

Peter and Susan have welcomed my family and me to their guest house now on many occasions and, without exception, the comfort, hospitality and food has been faultless. From the well equipped, tastefully furnished rooms to the superb breakfast (buffet of fruits, cereals, yogurts etc plus any combination of cooked food you like with lashings of tea or coffee) and...

Another trip to Hoylake and another great stay at Pendragon House - as always, I felt well looked after. Peter and Sue have been doing this for a goodly while and it shows. There's good attention to detail, good quality beds and bed linen, lovely bathrooms, nicely decorated bedrooms and great options for breakfast with decent quality ingredients, beautifully cooked....

I've just spent a couple of nights at Pendragon. Booking was straightforward and I received a warm welcome on arrival. All the rooms I saw were tastefully decorated and had a lot of local colour. Evidence of Hoylake as a fantastic golf resort was everywhere. The breakfast was excellent. It included three different ultra-fresh fruit salads, cereals, juices, a cooked...

Booked the Pendragon house for myself and two friend for a couple of nights, whilst playing golf locally. The welcome we received was warm and the rooms excellent. The breakfasts were magnificent with quality produce. Should we ever be in the area again, there is no doubt where we will stay. It felt like staying with friends rather than an...

A high quality, traditional B&B where they really pay attention to little details. No sense of that penny pinching you so often find in B&Bs. Very good breakfast. Not the cheapest but good value for the quality offered. Quite traditional, nor trying to be trendy or boutique.

We have stayed at Pendragon House many times and was so pleased to see that Susan finally has an award for her excellent breakfasts. They are the best. So well deserved. Peter and Susan always make us so welcome on our trips back to Hoylake. They have a very comfortable "home away from home" and can honestly say its the...

We have stayed in many places abroad and in the UK and can honestly say this lovely little find far outstrips them all in terms of service, friendliness, cleanliness of the rooms, comfort of the bed and most of all the delicious, freshly cooked, abundant, breakfast served on hot plates. The coffee beats any I've tasted in this country and...

Room was clean and very comfortable - just like home! En suite with everything ti hand. Private parking. Proprietor gave me a lift to Royal Liverpool GC - 2 mins by car, 15 min walk back after dinner. Will definitely try to stay there again. Highly recommended.
