Nice surroundings and a pleasant feel to the place when you go in. Immediate attention on arrival. Service was variable. Waitress leaned across the table in front of guests instead of coming round to the other side. Marked the staff as poorly trained. The calamari were crispy and enjoyable whilst still hot: ditto the garlic mushrooms. They went cold quickly...

The Dibbinsdsle is a lovely looking Inn with incredibly friendly staff. We stayed for two days, the first night we slept with the wife doe open...big mistake as it was fairly noisy with a busy road outside. The second night we kept the window shut but there was all sorts of noise within the building, could hear the people in...

Visited this past weekend and had a lovely evening. Our order was taken promptly and the food arrived quickly afterwards (lovely food) The restaurant was fairly busy too. We were tended too with drinks under no pressure. A really lovely evening and will be returning. Recommended. !!

I stayed in a single room for around £52/night. The place has a nice feel and although the room was small as expected, it was clean and had everything I needed. The furniture in the room looked a bit scuffed and tired and the wallpaper needed a bit of attention but the hotel was quiet and the staff were great....

We stayed at the Dibbingsdale for 2 nights. We were made very welcome by all the staff we met. The breakfast was top notch and very tasty. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant which had plenty of choices on the Italian style menu. Very reasonable prices too. I liked the way you could mix all the different dishes....

The twin room my husband and his brother occupied was spacious, and fulfilled all their needs. The staff at reception were helpful and understood their needs. . (They were attending Clatterbridge Hospital ) They thought the Pesto restaurant was excellent. The food was delicious, and the choice and price amazing. My husband wants to take me there, as he says...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the Dibbinsdale Inn the only thing we’re economical with is the price. There are endless reasons for staying the night. Ample sightseeing opportunities - miles of coast and countryside – golf courses galore (with Bromborough golf club just a 5-10 minute walk away and Hoylake, home to the 2014 British Open Golf Championship, within a 30 minute drive away). And we’re very well connected here on The Wirral – close to the region’s road and rail links, so getting to major cities such as Liverpool and Chester couldn’t be easier. You really couldn’t be better placed for a great night’s sleep. ... more   less
