We stayed in a twin room in the annexe and it was fine. The bathroom was bigger than we expected, the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Walking to the annexe we could hear the traffic from the nearby road but once inside we didn't notice it. The hosts were warm and friendly.

We have stayed at the Twin Oaks before and found that Carol and Chris have maintained their high standards, across the board. The rooms may be a little compact, but they were fully equipped for our overnight stay. Breakfast was very good, with an excellent choice available. Carol even had Gluten Free Bread available. As we were off on a...

Thank you for your kind review and positive comments. To explain the car parking situation. We are fortunate in the Summer months to have parking in a small paddock immediately outside the Farm House where we buy our bacon and sausage and which is on the way to the cruise terminal from Twin Oaks. We use this facility during the...

I stayed the night before a Fred Olsen cruise from Southampton, and was SO glad I did. Comfortable room, fast WiFi, excellent breakfast, and remarkable hosts - friendly, caring, and huge attention to detail. BUT, even better, you can leave you car there while you cruise. And MORE - they have a people carrier, and transfer you and your baggage...

The owners really care about their guests. Everything is about making sure you are comfortable and looked after. We stayed for one night prior to a cruise and had booked a double room for us and an adjoining room with bunk beds for my children. When we arrived the bunk beds had been dismantled because they thought we had just...
