Afternoon tea! Well what can I say! Absolutely excellent! Tasty fresh selection of sandwiches cakes and the lightest scones I've ever eaten! All set in the light and airy conservatory overlooking the beautiful gardens! Very friendly staff that didn't rush us meant we had a very relaxing afternoon! Thoroughly recommend Bartley Lodge hotel 🙂

My wife and I visited Bartley Lodge Hotel to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We thought it looked beautiful on the website and nestled in the stunning New Forest how could it not be?! On arrival the hotel and grounds looked lovely, quite grand. We were met by smiling staff and checked in quickly. We were shown to our superior...

We had a red letter voucher and booked this hotel we were greeted very nicely at Reception and I had forgotten my phone charger plug and with no hesitation they found me one that I could use. When we got to our room I was a little disappointed as to the size of it and one of my pet hates...

Thank you for your recent review, I'm sorry that the room wasn't to your liking. We do offer many rooms varying in sizes and we are very willing to move a guest if they are unhappy with their room (with vacant availability providing) so I'm sure if this was brought up with the receptionist they would have been more than...

Booked here as the hotel is dog friendly. Booked two rooms, one for me, with the dog, one for my mum, she had an accessible room on the ground floor which was very well appointed with bath and walk in shower, a bigger room ideal for a wheelchair user if necessary. My room was initially near the top of the...

We run a classic car two night break for 50 friends annually. The staff are very friendly and helpful and do their best to give above average service. The manager went out of his way to be certain that everything went well. A couple of rooms had noise at night from fans which disturbed the occupants sleep but when the...

I co-ordinated a joint sixtieth party for relatives; this involved taking over the entire hotel for a weekend. The staff could not have been nicer nor more helpful; my emails were replied to promptly, there was a pleasant degree of flexibility with regards to the purchase of outside beverages, the food was for the most part delicious, breakfast delightful and...

Thank you for your lovely review on your recent stay with us, we've had a few reviews from guests that attended your event and I'm glad to hear everyone had a lovely time and enjoyed themselves. We had to be in the area to see family but didn't want the 8 hour round trip back all in one day, so as there was a deal on we stayed 3 nights for the price of 2. The place does not change it is still a charming and graceful country hotel. This was our 5th or 6th time...

Thank you for your lovely review on your recent stay with us, we always love to hear from frequent guests. I do apologise if you got caught in between the wedding which was occurring at the same time as your stay, we do try to ensure non-wedding guests aren’t effected hugely because of a wedding but as you can imagen...

Stayed only one night here as a quick anniversary getaway. We had a 4 poster 'crown' room which was pleasant. Bright and airy, over looked the gravel car park out front. Sound from car park gravel in the early morning can be a little annoying as people come and go early doors. However overall it's a lovely building with small...

I stayed here with a group of 40 people on a three day music appreciation course. A number of people complained about the size of their rooms; mine was OK apart from the fixed shower head and lack of shelves to put toiletries on. It was however a very long walk from Reception, up and down staircases, along corridors and...

I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay with us at Bartley Lodge. I understand the team worked extremely hard to deliver for your group, and apologise that you felt this wasn't delivered. The room was smaller than expected and although spotlessly clean was spoilt by minor issues in decor which could be rectified easily, beautiful location, staff were faultless and very helpful, the general manager went out of his way to ensure a lovely weekend which was a surprise birthday weekend for my partner - food was fantastic, would recommend to anyone...

Thank you for your recent review on your stay with us, I'm sorry you felt your room was on the smaller side.
