We visited the hotel most nights in a weeks stay in Aultbea. The guys who run it are lovely and welcoming and do everything they can to make you feel at home. The food is delicious and the bar has a really cosy feel to it. Will definitely visit again if we venture out to Aultbea again!

A holiday stop off essential! Whether it's for a hot drink, a refreshing pint or a meal the aultbea hotel is warm friendly and welcoming. The views even from the car park are stunning! The free wifi is defiantly enticing but the warm fire and pool table keeps you there!

We have just returned home after a wonderful week-long trip around the north coast. This hotel was a lovely surprise. Our room, although on the small side, was tastefully decorated and had a very comfortable bed. The restaurant has a beautiful outlook and food and service was very, very good. Nice lounge to relax in afterwards as well; all-in-all a...

We popped into the bar as it was dog friendly and our b & b had suggested this hotel as somewhere to go. We had to eat in the bar which is very 'pubby' but food was quite good. Seemed quite a busy place so that's says a lot. A bit of a shame the bar area doesn't have any...

We arrived at the Aultbea hotel to be greeted genuinely by Robin, whom we learned was the owner, He let us eat in the conservatory as we didn't wish to miss a moment of the absolutely stunning view, Loch Ewe offered. Firstly the local brew, An teallach was excellent, a light pale ale served wonderfully chilled. We sat sipping with...

This was a great place to stay when visiting the Inverewe Gardens. Our room had a perfect view of the sea from bed - which was rather exciting when we were there thanks to 50mph winds! We ate at the hotel in the vening and the food and service was brilliant. Only disappointment was breakfast, which didn't live up to...

The guys that run this place have been doing loads of work to upgrade and then improve it. When I first visited the area many years ago it was more of a pub than a hotel/restaurant. We would drink pints and play darts and eat really good local food. Nowadays it is a restaurant of the highest standard. They have...

Accommodation base for a Photo Workshop with The Open Studio. Essentially out of season. Very comfortable accommodation and rooms, good facilities and tidy and clean throughout. Friendly owners/staff and good breakfast choice. Good quality Dinner, although no choices and no after dinner coffee/tea offered?
