Ze was heel oplossingsgericht en heeft dus voor ons nog een extra bed tussen de twee buitenste bedden geplaatst zo konden we met zijn drieën op een kamer slapen.

Glenwood is a newly built, family run establishment set in approx 4 acres of land. We are situated on the beautiful coastal road between Morar and Arisaig. We are approx 10 minutes walk from the stunning Camusdarach beach where you can view some of the most stunning sunsets in the world. The lovely fishing port of Mallaig is about 10 minutes drive away. why not take advantage of our barbecue area to sit and watch the stunning sunsets.

The room was spotless, large and had all we needed.
We enjoyed a walk to a local beach as recommended by Claire. It was lovely and quiet and tranquil.
We enjoyed meeting Archie the cat and having tickles and cuddles!
Breakfast we lovely and had all we needed. It was nice to sit with the other guests at a large kitchen table and chat.

Glenwood is a lovely home and the beach just down the road is gorgeous. We stayed one night before taking the ferry to the Outer Hebrides. Had a lovely meal in Mallaig. The king size bed was lovely. The only issue was the family dining table at breakfast. I don't want to sit and make polite chat with complete strangers at breakfast. Fortunately we booked for 9am and the other guests had left the table by then. Other than that we had a lovely stay.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Glenwood.

It is ideally situated between Arisaig and Mallaig and the beautiful beach.

The rooms are spotlessly clean, well presented and cosy.

Claire is very friendly and helpful and makes delicious breakfasts with plenty of choice.
I would definitely return and highly recommend this B&B.

I was impressed after the first email and phone call. I needed a room for myself at very short notice and when I spoke with the owner (Claire) she said they were basically closed at the moment but would open up a room for me. I received good instructions and found the house easily. I stayed for 2 nights and was very impressed by the whole experience. A very comfortable room - I had use of the family room - and excellent ensuite facilities. Claire was very helpful and gave good advice on the questions I asked. I would suggest you make this business your first call if looking for a room or rooms in the area... I certainly will.

Because we were returning home next morning, this HAD to be good, and it was. Although up a track, our SatNav took us to the door of this very pleasant home. We had the family room with en-suite.

Mallaig is only three miles away (if you take the correct narrow roads!). That is where you can try any of the numerous restaurants. But be warned....do not eat to much at your evening meal, as the breakfast is brilliant ! And to cap it all it is only a few minutes from the lovely White Sands of Morar.

What more could one want for an end to a great holiday.

We only stayed there one night during our Scottish trip but we found 2 very clean and comfortable bedrooms, and really nice hosts. You can choose in the evening what you would like to eat for breakfast the next morning, and everything is cooked just for you: the best cooked Scottish breakfast we’ve had ! Thanks a lot !
Just one thing to remember if you plan to go there: don’t follow Waze or Google maps as they think the house is at the opposite end of the city of Morar. Just write the postcode and you’ll find the house on top of a hill ! Beautiful view!

Glenwood is a newbuild house, with great hospitality. The owners build it with their own hands and you see the love they put in it in every detail. The room is very spacey, comfortable and cosy.
A walk to the beach takes less than 10 minutes and is a "must".

We did a 14 days Scotland trip, each night at another accomodation - hotels, guest houses and bed & breakfasts. This accomodation was clearly the best. Our double room was even more tidy and larger than in the 4-stars hotels at Aberdeen or Carnoustie. Everything was new and clean!! We did not have much contact to Claire because our spoken English is not so good, but while our stay I decided to give her a very good assessment at tripadvisor to thank her. Clean, tidy and suitable for large persons as we are (large bed, large shower, large room). Thanks Claire!
