This hotel is clean. Friendly helpful landlady. Lovely atmosphere with beautiful food. Reasonable prices. Recommend it. Nothing is too much trouble. Owners in the process of redecorating but I wasn't put off by this.

Everywhere I have worked, Everywhere I've stayed, Everywhere I have been this is the friendliest place I have stayed, not the newest décor not the most up to date building, but clean and the food is fantastic all homemade, the beer is good, but best of all is the landlord and landlady the welcome you get, the help they offer...

Friendly atmosphere, Dated decor but clean and tidy, Welcoming open fires, We had the Sunday carvery variety of three meats Generous portions of food and well presented, Good value for money and we must come again soon. Also Seen they do steak nights so I'll be back for a Welsh black steak.

Our party of five, enjoyed an excellent carvery on 22nd June 2014. What made this special was that we had our pets with us,and for obvious reasons, thought to take a small Jack Russell, and a Lhasa apso into the facility would, on asking, receive a firm no.However the weather was very warm. and having nowhere to leave them, the manager sectioned off...

After hearing the hotel had a refurbishment recently, I expected much more. The room was freezing. The central heating didn't work so we had a small oil heater. This was plugged into an extention cable which was connected to the kettle and tv - this couldn't reach the floor as the wires were hanging from the wall mounted tv. The...

The shower was in the corner of the bedroom but it worked fine! and a little wooden screen was provided if you didnt want anyone to look. The bed was very comfortable. We had a few drinks in the bar in the evening and played...

Dont go to the Foelas Arms if you want a 5* Hotel to spend a luxury weekend with your lover.... however, if like most people you are in the area for a weekend of walking, climbing etc, then the Foelas Arms is great. Yes the rooms are from the 60`s, no there isnt a...
