Superb relaxing weekend at a beautiful peaceful spot, perfect for exploring Snowdonia. Tim and Fiona are excellent hosts and the accommodation is superb. We had dinner on the Saturday evening which is all freshly prepared by Fiona and worth the trip alone!!! The bar is open to the locals only a couple of nights per week but a great atmosphere...

Myself and my husband stayed here for a long weekend a couple of weeks ago with 2 other couples and had a fantastic stay. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and well appointed with everything you might need, there was a bar which was also lovely. But best of all were the hosts, Tim & Fi, and the food they produced....

We had two rooms both of which were beautifully decorated and pristinely clean. Tim and Fiona are the perfect hosts and manage to be personable and friendly in the right mix. Fiona is a great chef and created delicious, locally sourced food for breakfasts and dinners . She even cooked separate meals for my vegetarian teenager which she absolutely loved....

Six of us (three couples) stayed here for two nights as a base for a motorcycle tour in North Wales. I have to say this place was great in every way. Tim and Fiona made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The food was excellent, home cooked and very tasty. Good selection of wines and not too pricey....

We stayed at the Lion for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Tim and Fiona are really perfect hosts and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The room we were in was at the back of the building and had a bathroom with a bath and a lovely little private balcony; it was very comfortable and nicely furnished....

We returned to the Lion after a gap of a decade or so and were delighted to find that, even though it has changed hands, it still had that something extra. Tim & Fiona are excellent hosts, the rooms are comfortable & well appointed, and the food is prepared as if you were a guest at a dinner party, rather...

This is the best B&B I have stayed in... The owners put immense efforts into everything they do, resulting in top quality. The food (both dinner and breakfasts) were excellent. All food was locally-sourced and plentiful. It was incredibly tasty. My wife is a vegetarian and they made special food for her. Breakfasts had fresh bread and juice along with...

We stayed at the Lion Inn for a weekend away and I'm so glad we did! Our room was very comfortable, had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break, and a little balcony to sit on and gaze out at the countryside! Beautifully presented rooms in general, wonderful breakfast (even happy to cater for those on fussy diets!)...
