The guest house is fabulous. We only stayed for 5 nights but the welcome was so friendly. Lovely comfortable room with en-suite. Christine's homemade jam is wonderful. We had company throughout the day courtesy of chickens and a duck who really is an interesting character. Christine is also very knowledgeable regarding the German Occupation of the island. One of the...

Thanks so much Christine - brilliant stay for mum and me downstairs - wheelchair easy to manoeuvre and great upstairs room for friends. Beds were just SO COMFORTABLE and breakfast utterly delicious . Fascinating array of much loved fowl - chickens and my favourite Indian runner duck. Rooms were very well appointed , great size, and we received the warmest...

The house is well placed for the town center and the coast is not far away ... it's true that it's a small island, but Christine's house is very well placed. The room is impeccable from any point of view. The breakfast is copious and if you want to taste the chili jam, do not hesitate it is delicious (with...

La Grande Jaoniere is a great Guest House, the rooms are really big and have a t.v., comfy chairs and tea/coffee making facilities. My sister's room was a ground floor double with a newly refitted bathroom. Very swish. The resident's lounge has a larger t.v. nicely furnished with a patio and mature gardens. Sometimes there are chickens roaming the garden...

Christine was lovely - suggested lots of places to visit & her breakfasts were amazing, duck, turkey or chicken eggs on the menue though her scrambled eggs are a special treat! Rooms were really nice and beds so comfortable. Very quiet location, really relaxing- can't wait to visit again very soon! Highly recommend for a cozy stay!

We had a super few days in Guernsey at La Grand Jaoniere. The rooms were very comfortable, well equipped and clean. Christine was a very friendly and accomodating hostess. We had a very warm welcome with a nice cup of tea and piece of home made cake and each morning, we came down to a lovely breakfast in a room...

We enjoyed our stay in Guernsey with Christine who was a perfect hostess, supplying us with a wealth of information about the island. Excellent accommodation, clean modern and well situated. Lovely breakfast, with choice of hen, duck or turkey eggs and fresh fruit from the garden when possible. Would highly recommend it and hope to return sometime. Howard & Barbara

We had a comfortable stay here for the Bank Holiday. Christine is a warm, friendly and helpful host, always making sure that we had everything that we needed. The room was clean and new bathroom immaculate. The photos shown here are a little out of date because the property is currently under-going a large renovation which will be fantastic when...

Lovely room - bigger than our bedroom at home and beautifully co-ordinated. The eggs! like nothing you've ever tasted if you haven't your own hens. Breakfast is anything you fancy and fresh fruit which sometimes out of the garden. Really wonderful home away from home. The bedroom we had had just been redone and the bathroom was to die for,...
