Stayed 3 nights while visiting family. Really enjoyed our stay & would happily return. Food superb, staff welcoming, friendly & efficient without being overbearing. Rooms quiet, warm & bed comfortable, nothing negative to say about this country pub/hotel. A really nice touch is the decanter of sherry to help yourself to when you arrive....!

Stayed here with friends when attending a wedding at a nearby country house hotel. Had the advantage of an early check-in (12 noon) . We were able to check-in and have lunch in bar before getting ready for the wedding. Bar lunch was very good, I had home made soup and freshly made sandwiches. Room and en suite was quite...

We dropped in on a holiday Monday for an evening bar meal and were quite impressed with the service and the menu. The staff were welcoming and friendly and, while we were offered a drink and given plenty of time to peruse the menu, the service was reasonably quick. The menu offered more than the average bar food although it...

Quick one night stop off but wish we could have stayed longer. The food, service and overall experience were excellent. I hope Linda is enjoying her trip to Dubai because she thoroughly deserves it, from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out nothing was too much trouble, hope to visit again.

Spent two nights at the hotel last week having first visited three years previously. We ate in the bar both evenings and the food was excellent. The menu was varied and the desserts were to die for! Alan, the Head Chef, even provided us with sandwiches for our journey home. In the morning Yvonne served us with a great cooked...

Dropped in here for a light lunch and we were impressed by the food and standard of service and price. I had pate and oatcakes and mum had a chicken sandwich made with proper chicken, not cheap stuff you get in a supermarket sandwich and the bread was homemade too. We had a look at the evening menu, it had...

Stayed here at this hotel a couple of weeks ago and I was attending a get together with friends in the Village. It is a beautiful hotel tucked away in a lovely village! The rooms were comfortable, warm and clean with all the facilities you would expect. The staff were nice and friendly. We also ate in the restaurant that...
