Detailed Reviews
I hadn't stayed at this hotel before but have visited the restaurant a few times.
I arrived early and was told that my room was ready so got checked in quickly, there were three staff at the reception desk and they were all in high spirits, I did see the guy's name was Graham, they pointed me to the taxi phone for the evening and were good in making conversation and making me feel welcomed.
The room is of Premier Inn's usual standards, a nice comfy bed with everything I need.
I ate at the Brewers Fayre again, mid afternoon and it was still quite busy but I'd never seen one of those places so busy at breakfast time, I think there were quite a few locals in too. I like Premier Inn's breakfast, it's a bit expensive but with eat as much as you like you can make it worth it easily. The staff were very busy rushing around constantly refilling the buffet, my only disappointment is not seeing the staff wearing any form of uniform, I feel it looks smarter.
I will hopefully be back again next year.

We stayed for 3 nights and had 2 rooms as there were 7 of us. The rooms were clean and comfy. The bathroom had a bath as well as a shower which was ideal for the kids after a busy day at the safari park.
The rooms are a fantastic size.
The staff were all friendly and helpful when we needed something. We asked if they could keep some milk in the fridge as one of the kids need soya milk and it needed to be in the fridge. We also had to ask for fan for the room as it was really warm and the air conditioning wasn’t working but that was miner and the fan helped the temperature and we all had fantastic nights sleeps.
I would highly recommend this hotel

Thanks for deciding to stay with us and for taking the time to review us. By the sounds of things, you and your family had a great time away which is great to read! We are so grateful for your kind words and the fact you would recommend us. Please note, we don't actually have air conditioning here as stated on the website. If booking another PI again, just look out for the ice icon or under the important info section. Once again, thanks for your kind comments and we welcome you back to Falkirk East. Kind Regards, Graham on reception

Me,Lisa hall went to Scotland on January 11th Nd stayed in the premier inn Falkirk east hotel for the weekend Nd came away on the Monday the 13th. The weekend was a treat for my wife birthday which we then went and did a ghost hunt on the Saturday night at Bo’ness town hall then on the Sunday we spent the whole day with a very good friend looking around Linlithgow palace then on the evening we went to more friends for food, drinks on Sunday night. The premier inn was a very nice hotel we have stayed there a few times now the staff are very friendly and helpful and always make you feel welcome so we can not fault them in anyway and would definitely recommend people to stay here.

This hotel, although in an industrial area was quiet and clean. Access to both Glasgow and Edinburgh was good which was essential as we had to do some investigating permanent accommodation as well as attend a show "Six" in Glasgow.
Our only issue was the room temperature. The thermostat could not go below 22 celsius and it was already too warm outside. It would be good if Premier Inn could adopt a policy of allowing cooler room temperatures in the summer as this is a universal problem across Premier Inn hotels.
The staff were very helpful and provided a fan to cool the room for which I was very grateful.

Thank you for choosing to stay at Premier Inn. As always, we appriciate all feedback & improve where we can. We are delighted by the high scores you have given us. I do certainly agree the rooms can get quite warm however as stated online we do not have air con. When booking in the future, you can check on the hotel pages if they are fitted with air con or not. As always we try and do our best by switching the heating off and keeping the windows open. Kind Regards, Graham Reception Team

Business trip. Friendly and helpful reception staff at Hotel and Cadgers Brae eatery. All clean and tidy; shower and TV worked as they should . Perfectly reasonable eatery next door. I routinely use Premier Inns for business purposes and value the consistency, usually good location and ready availability of somewhere to eat. I like Falkirk East and would definitely use again.

Stayed for 2 nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable however it was a little warm and we were unable to sleep with the window open due to the traffic noise. Bathroom was very clean with an excellent shower and large new fluffy towels. Requested a mat for in the shower which was immediately and cheerfully given. Ate in the on site restaurant and had the £23,99 meal deal which included a 2 course dinner with a glass of wine and a buffet breakfast which was excellent value for money.

Thanks for deciding to stay with us and thank you for spending the time to review us. All feedback is appriciated so we can try and improve where we can. I am delighted with your positive comments. I am very sorry you found the room warm, as stated on the website, we don't have air con which sometime we find ourselves chasing our own tail. We would be glad to welcome you back, we can certainly allocate you a room at the back of the hotel which doesn't get the sun as much. Please e-mail us at falkirkeast.pi@whitbread.com for any future requests. Once again, thanks for your comments. Keep safe. Kind Regards, Graham on reception

Lovely hotel, typical Premier Inn so don't expect all singing, all dancing, but spotless and very friendly. Location was perfect for Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel and Edinburgh, really easy to find. Room was spacious and no traffic noise. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who provided extra milk and pillows upon request. Good linking with the staff over at the Brewers Fayre just next door. Snack machine available in reception area as well as a phone for local taxis. Free parking in a spacious CCTV monitored car park, you just give your registration upon sign in. Couldn't fault the hotel at all and will definitely consider staying again if in the area. Great light up make up mirror with hairdryer on the side, fans are available on request (although our son did have one in his room already). Usual little kettle and sachets of tea and coffee (yuck to the coffee but that's personal preference!). Handwash/body wash also already in rooms as standard. Just wish hotels would accomodate for a family of 5 as we had to get 2 rooms. Oh and there's even a garden centre and car wash/valeting service next door!! Thank you for making our 2 night stay really easy and enjoyable.

Thank you for choosing Premier Inn. We are delighted by your fantastic review of us and are very grateful for all your feedback. It does make the job worth while when we read that people like yourself would return again. I appriciate your comments regarding family rooms of 5, however I think most chain hotels the rooms are cabin like size & for fire safety this wouldn't be feasible. We do have interconnecting rooms at most of our hotels, give any site a phone before you book and the hotel team can get these allocated for you. Kind Regards, Graham Reception Team

The worst place I have ever stayed avoid room 119!!!
I am well traveled & have stayed in the hostels that are far far nicer than this. The pictures online are nothing like the reality.
The room stank so badly of urine I could taste it! Bathroom had toilet seat was ivory in colour where it was so stained, the kettle was filthy i dear not use it. The guys at reception were so lovley but they had no other rooms available.
The carpets in the whole building clearly need a good shampooing, the whole building smells musty.
Whomever is responsible for the upkeep of the building clearly doesn't care and thinks its acceptable to sell ppl and room which isn't at all habitable. The worst stay ever would never go back and an insulted I have had to stay in a room in stuch a state . We then finished our stay in falkirk in the Premier Lodge up the road its far far nicer & great value for money, clean fresh towels and bedding

We stayed for 2 nights in Falkirk East as a family of 4 (including a 3 year old and a 9 month old baby) to have some quality family time and visit the Falkirk wheel. We received such a warm welcome on arrival and every time we passed through reception. A special thanks to Graham for being so friendly and helpful in recommending local things to do, and providing all the information needed for our stay. The room was a great size for a family, with plenty of space for toys, a cot and a pram. The hotel is in a great location and the soundproofing is great, so you can't hear the traffic or other guests. We will definitely be booking Premier Inn in the near future! Thank you.

The Falkirk East is a gem of Premier Inns. Myself and my daughter often stay when she is competing in Grangemouth. The location is easy to find with ample parking. Staff are approachable and friendly. The entire hotel and rooms are always exceptionally clean. The receptionist upon arrival was friendly and welcoming. The waiting/bar staff are lovely, kind and helpful and went above and beyond at breakfast time. Although, the weekend we stayed they were experiencing a problem with their gas supply and could only offer a continental breakfast. However, this was not an issue for us as the staff more than made up for it with their choices on the continental menu and brought us over a range of pastries, croissants, pancakes, fruit, cereals, yogurts etc and coffee/tea and toast which was most welcoming as the decision was difficult to make with the choices available. They were lovely, friendly & chatty. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We arrived just before 16:00 and checked in but as they say 16:00 I don't think you could complain if you have to wait until 16:00. I think this is to give them plenty of time to clean the rooms with the covid problems. You would have to contact Premier inns directly to see if there was any way they could make an exception for you.
Hi Jillian Premier Inn Falkirk east is about a 30 min walk away from Polmont Station but taking a taxi from the station takes about 5 mins and taxis are plentiful and cheap . The stadium is about a 40 minute walk away but again is only a 5 min taxi ride away and is easy to get to . Enjoy
come out of hotel carpark, turn right towards roundabout, then its marked for M9.
Hi Jillgregg2013
Thanks for your query.
The information provided below is correct. You can book a twin room, however this will still be one room with a double bed and a single sofa bed in it. If you wish to be in separate rooms, you would need to book 2 rooms.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Amy Thacker
Premier Inn Team
You can go to Traveline (see Google) and enter Polmont in the From box and Falkirk wheel in Destination. You will have to ask the reception where the bus stop is and you need the Wheel's Visitor Centre. Select which time you want to go and click on that row. That will give you the bus numbers you require. There is one change of bus.
