Very nice Agriturismo with nice people and very good & homemade food. Rooms are individuell and quiet and location is perfectly based to enjoy the countryside and visit on the other side nice cities as Syrakusa and Noto. Perfectly combination. It is just important that you are not affraid of dogs.

This was our third time back at Casa di Melo. Lorenzo and Chiara's hospitality is warm and friendly. They make their guests feel right at home immediately. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The buffet breakfast has a variety of treats from sweet to salty. It's simply delicious. Dinner is a vegetarian based menu. The wonderful aroma that permeates...

We had a lovely week on this wonderful agritourismo citrus farm where we ate delicious vegetarian fare - though there is a fish night which is not to be missed. Tranquil relaxation by the pool and welcoming, generous hosts.

I recently spent 3 nights with 14 family members at La Casa de Milo. Situated in a farming area near Cassibile, Sicily in the SE, this 200 year-old family villa has been nicely restored into a relaxing boutique hotel. La Casa di Melo is on a functional organic farm and uses produce off the farm or from nearby organic growers...

We wished we could have stayed longer! It was the perfect place to regroup after two weeks of traveling. The room was large with a wonderful large balcony where we could sit and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Loved the well behaved dogs....they helped create that homey atmosphere. Beautiful seating areas everywhere and an infinity pool that was a treat...

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every moment of the tranquil atmosphere and hospitality. The dinners were outstanding. Our room was very comfortable and the staff were engaging, friendly and very helpful. Of course I have to also mention that the happy dogs add character and charm to the countryside atmosphere.

We arrived a bit battered and bruised, a perfect place to recover, enjoy the peace of wandering amongst lemon groves and relaxing on the verandas. The organic restaurant provided the best food of our trip to Sicily. Hosts are friendly yet unobtrusive, creating a homely relaxed atmosphere in a stunning old refurbished farmhouse. Well located near to beach, town of...

I have never slept at Casa di Melo, but i have eaten there 3 times. The food is based on the vegetables from their organic production, and is both traditional and modern. In August, when its almost impossible to get a decent meal in Siracusa, this place delivers a first class experience.

just a few miles down the road from Cassibile to Siracusa is a small green hotel or agriturismo called La Casa Di Melo. The agriturismo is named after one of the dogs who live on the property. The staff is utmost friendly, helpful and will do anything to make sure that your stay is going to be the best stay...

My partner and I stayed for a week in late April and had a really relaxing break. Booking was easy and on arrival we had been upgraded to a larger room, which was spacious, had a clean and well-equipped bathroom, adequate bed, TV, fridge & safe. Breakfast was spread of cornflakes, coffee, cake, breads, yoghurt and loads of freshly squeezed...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
La Casa di Melo is an ancient Sicilian farmhouse, built at the beginning of the 19th century. It's surrounded by a luxuriant organic citrus plantation, the green lung of our 150 hectares farm. My father, Giuseppe, taught me that living in a cleaner environment, along with eating better and respecting nature, are the basics for a better and happier life, with a lighter impact on the environment. That's why we decided to renovate the farmhouse. We are a family and we run this place with the goal to make you feel at home, sharing our love for nature and our respect for the environment. In the property we have 6 dogs living in totally freedom so if you are scared of dogs or looking for an all-inclusive place, an ordinary b&b, this place is not for you. ... more   less

“Because we stayed an extra night, we moved to another room which was just as nice as what we had the first four nights. Others staying had nothing but good words about the choice of their own rooms so I really don't think anyone can go wrong with their choices once they know your needs, ie, some rooms had a crib if a family needed.”
