I have been to several of the casinos here in Wisconsin and I must say that this was overall probably the best that I have visited. Was relaxed. Has table games and a good staff. Less flashier than Milwaukee and of course not Vegas but I enjoyed it.

We arrived at the Carter Casino after a two-hour bumper-to-bumper car ride through the north woods. Check-in was relatively easy. Now the fun began! I had asked for a deluxe double queen room on the second floor next to the elevator. The staff had not informed me that there was only one elevator in the whole building and that it...

We recently stayed for first time at this casino...pleasantly surprised... PROS: Very clean, homey feel, with friendly staff! Rooms are also quite nice and clean. There are two bars and a good restaurant. Hotel prices are very reasonable. There was a live band which was great! No smoking area in Bingo hall-which was appreciated. CONS: There is no space to...

The room was clean and large. It was affordable and easy to find. The staff was friendly and the casino had a good variety of slot machines. We enjoyed our visit and my husband and I even came out a little bit ahead!

We stayed for one night. The hotel was offering a room rate which include some free play. We enjoyed the casino, ate dinner and breakfast the following morning. We thought it was a good deal, we enjoyed ourselves and plan to return. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Casino patrons seemed like a fun group, there to enjoy themselves.

We were here for a conference for the first time and were welcomed by a friendly staff at the front desk. Our room was very clean, nicely made up, beds comfy - loved the Keruig coffee maker, fridge, closet space. We were on the ground floor, so we had nice sliding doors to open up on to a patio. The...

We regularly go to the casino when we are in the area. They have a good selection of slots and add new machines pretty regularly. Their gaming tables aren't always open, so check their website if you like to play table games. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, and are always happy to answer your questions. The only draw-back...

Surrounded by hundreds of miles of snowmobile and ATV trails, guests can hit the trails for an afternoon of riding and sightseeing then enjoy the evening inside in one of the many areas of the casino, hotel or restaurants. Potawatomi Carter Casino's hotel is also newly renovated. A recent ten month long project, now completed, definitely has its rewards. Guests entering the lobby will now notice the warmth and glow of a fire place, complimented by a lounge area for our guests to relax and a new business center. Don't miss the new feature wall of the lobby, highlighting the Forest County Potawatomi while checking in. As guests walk through the hotel to reach their room, you'll notice the rich wood that gives that warm comfortable feeling. Each newly renovated room offers that comfortable, cozy feel you can only get one other place, home. When guests first walk into their room, they are not walking into just any hotel room. They are walking in to a warm, inviting atmosphere equipped with, what guests are calling, "the most comfortable beds they have ever slept in." All of the rooms feature a 47'' HD TV, suites have two TV's, free Wi-Fi, a Keurig coffee machine, refrigerator and microwave and in room safe.
