Lovely stay last week for a long weekend. Comfortable room, fab food and really friendly, helpful staff. A properly dog friendly place to stay. I love his place and can't wait to go back. Felt as if we were staying in a friend's house. Thank you all!

Having dined here in The Summer, we decided to return and stay for a few nights. Had a very relaxing break. We dined here both nights and had very good service. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Room was cosy, a little noisy as it was over The Bar, but that didn't bother us. Will definitely return.

We popped in for a drink and some snacks and we were welcomed like old friends! Stunning pub with bags of character! The barman was so welcoming and happy to help. I would highly recommended a visit! Food looked lovely although we only had enough cash for crisps!! Lovely local ales!

This was a trip with two American couples so that they could experience the best that the Lake District has to offer, and to satisfy an ambition to visit Beatrix Potter's house (which is next door). Our friends loved the cosy rooms, named after dialect words for counting sheep. The village was peaceful and charming, and the breakfast superb. I...

Visited Tower Bank Arms on a chilly Sunday evening in October for a meal. The food was excellent and not too pricey. The atmosphere was lovely, especially with the roaring fire, and the staff were very pleasant and friendly.

We popped in here before visiting Hilltop and were made really welcome by all the staff. We had a fantastic and good value lunch- my husband's steak sandwich was well filled with tasty steak and the chips were the best we'd eaten in a long time. Good beer too. Everyone who came in was greeted and welcomed and the atmosphere...

During a 3 1/2 week tour of the UK, we voted the Tower Arms as our absolute favorite pub!! The food was absolutely delicious, the ales were flowing, and the fire roared. It is in a tiny village, and the staff and locals were so wonderful and friendly, this was British hospitality at it's finest!!

Great food. Lovely friendly pub. Massive portions. Highly recommend beef stew. Like home cooking at its best. A gem of a place. Stayed in Buckle Yeat next door. Beautiful location. Will definitely come back.

Called here for lunch after a busy morning. Traditional pub serving lunch between 12 - 2 p m. Got a seat in the window with gorgeous views of the village. We ordered beef and ale stew with 2 dumplings and chunky chips. We then shared a waffle with banana ice cream toffee sauce fruit purée and fresh fruit. With a...
