Couldn't fault a thing. Loved the room, the pub is so cosy with roaring log fire and lovely fresh croissants for breakfast after a dip in the roll-top bath. Wonderful staff who went out of their way to make us welcome. Thankyou :)

Fantastic stay and the staff and service was outstanding. Quality of food was excellent. I would recommend this hotel and restaurant to my family and friends. I will return to the Derby Arms hopefully in the near future.

We tried this place on our way home from the lakes as we saw it from the roadside and found good food ,good beer and a friendly atmosphere.....we'll definitely come back again the next time we are passing......spot on guys, keep up the good work

Owner no longer doing cooked breakfast with room rate please be aware and ask when booking .we will not be staying again until breakfast restored,no wonder booking are way down ,rooms clean &tidy staff friendly and helpful,shame owner not helping them !!!

Great place inside which served very tasty coffee by a very helpful lass who was apologetic about the kitchen being deep cleaned so no food available today but one to return too as the specials looked great

Stayed at The Derby Arms for a second time now whilst visiting the mountain festival in Kendal. Our first stay here was excellent and this trip was no different.
