The staff at the hotel helped us book the safari with an amazing guide and driver. Yala is just incredibly amazing!! The food at the hotel is delicious, the location is good and the bedroom was excellent!

We stayed just one night as we wanted to do the safari. The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly. He asked us how much we were being charged for tuk tuks/ safari to make sure we were getting a good price. The room was great. We took a room with AC which I would recommend as its extremely hot in... More

This place has huge potential but is so badly run. When we arrived we were sat down and given a hard sell on a safari tour. To make matters worse we couldn't check into our room because the manager 'had to check with his boss' but he could sit us there for 30 mins trying to sell a safari. Then... More

This place is value for money, initially we got dropped us at a place $50 more expensive. Their rooms aren't as good as nature resorts. The manager was very welcoming. Only lost a star for one of his staff members having a grumpy attitude on our last day.

We stayed here for two nights especially to do a safari. We cannot fault this hotel. They emailed us in advance to inform us of prices for the safari that we wanted to do. The room was clean and well-presented. Upon arrival we met a lone backpacker who wanted to join us on our safari (to reduce the price). The... More

The room was great: newly decorated, clean and tidy. Nicest Sri Lankan room we had seen. We were welcomed in a friendly way. However, we found service throughout to be sloppy. The aforementioned welcome drink was missing. We tried to order a curry for dinner here but were told we needed to order in advance; which was not mentioned when... More

The hotel is in a good location and walking distance to town. Our room and bathroom were clean. We had a downstairs room at the bottom of the stairs which we wouldn't recommend as voices carried and echoed quite loudly which made sleeping challenging. The manager at the hotel was welcoming and provided information on tours of Yala with good... More

Imagine after 4 hours driving in pitch black nature due to a major power cut to a small cosy guest house in the middle of a rice field.. Our room was prepared with loads of candles and cold beer bottles resting in a pot of half melted ice, and a man smiling and being very welcoming apologising for a power... More

It's a good base for exploring Yala National Park. We stayed in the "older" part of the buildung without balcony, but the room was clean, the beds comfy and the A/C worked. The manager arranged a Safari for us (haggle about the price!), which we thouroughly enjoyed. Had a good driver and he spotted a leopard for us (which is... More
