This is a nice place with clam environment. However, security facilities should be strengthen. At least safely lockers should be provided. Specially, kids enjoyed the stay in Saraii village very much.

Mud chalet suite was beautiful. Staff were excellent. Beautiful pool in the garden. Fun tours. Excellent place even if you are traveling the country alone. Will want to come back soon. Room and bathroom were very clean and cleaned up every day. Saw peacocks in front of my room in the morning. Definitely worth the price. Lunch with farmer family...

We visited Saraii for a late lunch while our stay in tissamaharama. It was bit far from where we stay but we needed to visit them because of their marketing campaign in Colombo. We were not worried traveling for them because we were satisfied with food. Food was bit expensive than we expect but it was organic foods grown in...

This was our best stay in Sri Lanka. We booked a tree house luxury room: really nice, comfortable and well furnished. The bathroom which is actually on the tree was the highlight. The three house shower is unique with tree branches for floor! You must book a tree house if you go there. The staff is friendly. Food is fresh...

Four of us spend two days full board in two tree suites. here is the briefing of good and bad we've experienced. BAD Location: Hotel is located in settlement area. Don't expect any of scenic view from hotel. Two tree suites are located and the edge of the land. Pool: Swimming pool had submerged debris (dead leaves) which indicates pool...

Overall, there was a lot that let Saraii Village down. I emailed them before writing this review to bring a few points to their attention. After nudging them they eventually replied saying that the hotel is undergoing a major restructuring and revamping program. So maybe things will improve for others. Below are the points I raised with them. Overall I...

Actually we have made the reservation about 24 hours earlier, but they didn't prepare the room for us when we arrived, we have waited around 40 mins at the reception. Food is good. But not much varieties of the menu. There service was good. There's a small water problem would like to highlight.

Went there and it was so natural. The staff is so friendly and the breakfast near the river area is so romantic. Suggest a buffet rather than a selected menus. Good place to go if you are seeking a nature guy.

The service here was excellent. We stayed in the mud chalet suit, very spacious, comfy king size bed and mosquito netting .The bathroom was open air with 5 to 6 trees and was a different experience. The Toiletries they had was all natural and was very soothing for the skin, i bough a few of their soap from the shop...

This place is amazing and I have recommended it to every person I have talked to since being home. If you are going to Yala in Sri Lanka, you have to spend some time at the Saraii tree houses. The people are amazing. They made recommendations and reservations for everything from rental cars to tours for our family of 5...
