This was worth climbing up the hill in the dark. The view is sensational in the dark or in daylight. I had the impression that there's been recent investment: all very new, but maybe a little overdone. E.g. There was out of control air conditioning but no way to open the window and let the fresh mountain air in. The...

Perfect location to enjoy our first french champange in France, sitting on the terrace, watching the sun set over the village. The staff were incredibly hospitable and welcoming. The 3 course dinner very nourishing. I would highly recommend this fine establushment to all my friends

We were on a cycling holiday and were a little annoyed to find that the property is not 250 metres from Sospel as advertised. But once we got there we were happy- recently renovated room with a lovely bathroom. The hotel has a large terrace with great view over the valley. Fortunately they served dinner at hotel restaurant, on the...

This proved to be a very special place. When we arrived (on foot) we were disappointed to see that the restaurant was closed that evening, but the friendly lady of the house offered to drive us down to the village for dinner, and came back for us. That kind of service is exceptional. We were in Room 5, beautifully appointed,...

We throughly enjoyed our stayed. Sospel is a lovely area and the hotel is purched high about half a km ftom the town centre. We found the room clean and very comfortable. The restaurant has lovely decor and has an excellent cuisine. The hostess provided us with two lovely plates of food which we enjoyed especially as the chef made...

A fairly plain fairly traditional building with modern interior and very modern rooms. The road side and entrance side rooms have views over the town and valley, but rear rooms and the annexe do not. You can relax on the terrace and admire these views too. We stayed off season but the hotel was full and turning customers away. Our...

We stayed in a first floor room that was clean and modern with panoramic views of Sospel and the surrounding countryside. It is a bit of a hike up the hill from the train station and town, but well worth it. The restaurant provided large, country-style French cuisine that was tasty and filling. The proprietor was very friendly though her...

We stayed here for 2 nights 5th, 6th September and were worried as we had seen a couple of bad reviews before we set off. However, we had a wonderful stay. We were in room 5 which has fantastic views. The hotel is very relaxing and the terrace is a lovely spot for dinner. The staff were really helpful and...

We had been apprehensive about staying in this hotel, having read the previous poor review en route. However, we could not have been more delighted with what we found. We stayed in a great room (room 5), with a modern bathroom, air con, a huge and very comfortable king size bed (even the pillows were just right!), a large plasma...
