Our two day stay at Domaine Annie-sur-Mer is amongst one of our most memorable. The rustic sea side cabin offered privacy, optimal tranquility, a slow paced environment conducive to meditation, not to mention breath taking tides with enabled us to walk (with gum boots afoot) to the light house nearby. We will be revisiting soon

Our stay began on a very positive note when we were offered an upgrade to a bigger room for the same price. Our host the proceeded to book us a table at a very good local seafood restaurant. Before supper, we spent some time enjoying the calm of the St-Lawrence from their beach. After our delicious meal, we relaxed in the hot tub while marveling at all the stars. Breakfast was very good and included hardboiled eggs and waffles.

This little motel was quaint and set on a beautiful spot on the St. Lawrence river. The room itself was very clean but the bed was so uncomfortable I slept very little. For that reason I couldn't recommend staying here.

Domaine Annie offers great value. A very clean well kept motel offering great views and surroundings. A very nice breakfast is included. You cannot go wrong staying here. The restaurant offers delicious food at reasonable prices. The owners are responsive to customer's needs, and their attention to running a good buisiness is evident.

We had reserved a room in the auberge (as they also have a camping ground, a row of small motels, together with a few small cottages). The room was large with two double beds and comfortable. We had our own bathroom with tub and shower. Our window allowed us to see the ocean and the lovely lighthouse which is the trademark of Métis-sur-Mer (I am attaching a photo). Breakfast (continental) was included and it was OK. Regular coffee and if you wanted a latte or an espresso, you paid extra. We did not have dinner there as we wanted to experiment other places. Service was extremely pleasant. We can walk down to the beach and sit in Adirondack chairs and enjoy the view and the sunsets at night. We also walked along the beach when lowtide and could see the big houses mostly owed by American people. I would go back but only if I could rent one of the small cottages located directed on the water. The room inside the auberge was ok but not totally soundproof. It was quiet only late at night when everyone had gone to bed:-)
