We stayed here as a family of 4 and the hospitality was excellent. The room clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. Can highly recommend as a base to explore Zell am See and surrounds. We were able to "help out" one morning in the dairy.

This was my 3rd stay at the Schloss Saalhof. My first visit was in 2013 October, my second visit was in October 2016, and we were back for another stay the following weekend in November. We had a great time. This is a family run business in a cozy keep. Kathrin Reider and her family are very friendly hospitable. My...

Our group of 16 (6 adults+9 children+1 loveable dog) stayed at Saalhof for a week in July 2016. We occupied one entire floor of the castle which consisted of four independent apartments. From our arrival until our departure, Kathrin was very welcoming and helpful. Her husband, Hermann, was also very accommodating, but his main focus is the farm. At our...

We were 4 adults travelling around Austria who stayed at the castle for 2 nights. It was a beautiful castle with a rustic appeal. Our one-room suite was tastefully decorated, had comfortable beds, and was extremely clean. We cooked our own meals in the fully equipped kitchenette with its modern appliances. Our favourite part of the stay was the Finnish...

They have also a farm where the children can see animals. Everything is exactly like on the website. They have a very nice bbq...

The rooms were all to small for 5 persons. No wifi in our room, but worked near the entrance. Noisy road next to castle, which is the mainroad in the area. No restaurant Nice and welcoming hostess. But the host/farmer didnt seem to want us there.

I am very sorry that you holiday in June 2015 at the Saalhof Castle didn´t fulfill your expectations and we will try to do better. What a pity that you didn´t tell me about your complaints during your stay. When I asked you, you answered me, everything is fine; when you left after 4 nights you said you would like...

The hotel was cosy and we enjoyed our stay with the family. We had our own new renovated appartment, but we took part in all the jobs there are on a farm when we liked to. The family did everything for us to enjoy our stay. We had a bbq in the Kota grill hut together with the family, gave...
