A stylish converted farmhouse set in a wild garden (do not expect manicured lawns). The attention to detail in the high spec rooms, and elsewhere, is superb. Pierre is a helpful, attentive and knowledgeable host. Breakfasts were definitely worth getting up for with freshly baked goodies. Check out the pool after dark - you may be star struck! Uzes is...

I have reviewed Le Clos previously and make no apology for doing so again. We travel a lot but return here at least once a year to recharge and experience something really special. In an age of corporate blandness, here you can find tranquility and peace in an environment of natural beauty enhanced by true style. This is a place...

We have visited le Clos several times now and it is always a much anticipated holiday. The quiet pool with the oleanders dipping, the delicious breakfasts, the charm and warmth of the host, and the unique artistic decor of the rooms all combine to ensure a relaxing and tranquil stay. Enormous beds, art all around, a gym, a steam room... This...

A beautiful converted property in a little hamlet in Languedoc Rousillon. The owner Pierre works very hard to make your stay a delightful one. He is there every morning at breakfast serving up beautifully fresh pastries and jams. You can tell that he is trying to provide the sort of hotel experience that he himself would like to have. Loved...

Without any doubt the best place my wife and I ever tested in France. If you like quiet luxury hotels with both a classic touch and a pinch of design, you will love Clos du Lhete. OK, it is more like an exclusive and luxury bed and brakfast so do not expect constant attention and services. But the place in...

A beautiful and tranquil place. Our room was stylish and the bed was huge. The hotel has an air of tranquility and we loved everything about it (although we didn't find it very easily!). The owner was very helpful and their restaurant (even harder to find) is very special indeed. They are both highly recommended.

Tucked away in a quiet hamlet. Very peaceful and relaxing. A little bit shabby in contrast to Chateau Bagnols and Chateau de Massillan where we stayed beforehand...and not much cheaper. However - we enjoyed our stay. Visited the owner's restaurant, which is worth experiencing. You do not get much of a choice - he cooks you what he wants (!)...

Incredibly many charming details can be found in every corner of this special place. You must see, feel, smell, taste and hear it..... the beauty of the whole house is incredible... art, rooms, garden, pool, charming team, the aura, the lightness, wonderful linen, lavendel, Bulgari, fresh scent of baked delights, wonderful breakfast, the sound of the fountain, the hum of...

Couldn't disagree more with the review highlighted below. We were also surprised with the lack of 'one to one' attention offered by other properties at the start of our stay, but found as a result the peace and tranquillity offered, and a feeling of being able to have the run of the house was lovely and i assume that's how...

We were so looking forward to staying here, it was our ‘splurge’ of the holiday at what looked like it was going to be a blissful few days in beautiful surroundings. It was all unfortunately spoilt by the sheer arrogance of the place from the moment we stepped through the door. Yes, the place is in a beautiful area and...

4/ The parents told our cleaning lady that a lightbulb was not working in their toilet. Since I also run a restaurant, I only came back at 11:30pm and thought it wasn't a good time to go in their room to change a lightbulb. So I waited until the morning and changed it when they were having breakfast. Not really...
