A unique spot in the sense that it caters to both backpackers as well folks who are willing to spend a little extra to have their own suites or cottages. The dinners are all family style and are excellent! The property is run by folks who are in their 20's and live on the massive property. They're all extremely friendly...

I travelled here with my boyfriend and stayed for two nights in one of the Seaview Ensuite rooms (Albertina). The room is basically like a studio cottage, when you enter, there's a small kitchenette with a microwave and mini fridge, on the other side of the room is the ensuite shower and toilet, and then there is the main part...

This Backpackers is far out of town, and you need a rental car to get here... Was very disappointed at the Private room, which was actually just a private room in a shared dorm room of 12 people. Fairly noisy as it is wood floors. Shared bathroom and toilet. So not what I expected at all if you think you...

We only stayed one night at Buccaneers Lodge during our 3.5 weeks in SA and it was the worst place to stay. Our room was not ready once we arrived (at 5! in the afternoon). After one hour waiting we could check in but our room was not clean at all - even not sure if they changed the linen....

Stayed here for a few nights in a private room in a shared house. Clean but there were no locks on the rooms and no locks on the toilets or bathrooms, so anyone else in the house with you can (and does) walk in on you! Please rethink this as it isn't hard to put locks or something on doors....

We loved our brief stay here in the new luxury suites. The views were stunning and the rooms were clean and simply but stylishly decorated. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the bar was hopping. Access to the beach is a short, but fun walk past the small lagoon.

Best backpackers in town. Nice views for breakfast/dinner and only a 10m walk to the beach. Lovely staff and good food. Will definitely return here once. The free activities they organise are a good way to meet the other people staying there.

Such an amazing place with stunning views and incredibly good energy. We stayed in the Albertina suite and it was so beautiful. The meals are home made with love and everything we ate was tasty. Thanks to Sal, Michelle and especially Kyle for making our stay so pleasant.

Loved coming here. It's very relaxing and so beautiful. The only problem getting here are the terrible speed bumps on the gravel road driving down. It's not a problem if you're coming in a 4x4, but if you're in a normal car, like we were, the chances are that your undercarriage is going to scrape badly, especially if you're car...

This place disappointed me quite a bit, I did expect a bit more for the price… We had a double room in a shared house… I don’t know if the standard of this house reflected all of the rooms, I certainly dosen’t hope so. It was very run down, and the lack of kitchen utensils (and light in the kitchen)...
