This is a very good hotel in a town of limited choices. The interior of the rooms are surprisingly modern and large, with the exterior fitting in well with the old-time charm of Quillan itself. It's just opposite the train station where we found ample free parking. Check in was smooth and friendly. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to eat...

Booked this last minute on whilst looking at properties in the area and what a lovely treat! A huge room with beautiful bathroom and separate toilet - and this was the standard. We loved our meal downstairs and chose the Vietnamese specials. Very authentic and delicious - worth visiting the restaurant alone. Friendly welcome but can't comment on breakfast as...

This was my first trip to Quillan. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Even though I overlooked the road, the shutters kept out any noise at night. The little balcony was big enough for a chair to sit out and enjoy the sunshine. The staff were very helpful and keen to ensure that I enjoyed my stay. Perfectly located,...

Had a weekend in this hotel when visiting Quillan house hunting, the rooms and reception are modern and the dining room still traditional which seems a bit incongruous. The hotel frontage looks a bit uncared for. However, don't let this put you off, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean with comfortable beds and the food is...

The staff are very well trained and very friendly .The room was very clean and modern and the shower was always hot .The towels were very clean and replaced daily and the room was cleaned...

We stayed for one night at La Chaumiere and have to say we were quite impressed. I wasn't expecting much given what we paid and the fact that Quillan wasn't exactly a large town. We managed to park right outside the hotel (free) and received a warm welcome at reception. The receptionist showed us to our room which was on...

Visited for a long weekend and will definitely be back! The owners were lovely, very little English spoken but that's how it should be and makes the visitor exercise their language skills! Room was simple - modern, warm (controllable) with a great shower! Only thing that would have improved it would be tea & coffee- there is however a fridge...

Very good hotel, kind staf, free parking in basement. Up to date rooms, good restaurant at a fair price. Stayed on top floor. Elevator only form basement to first floor but I do not mind. Very good WiFi, overall a nice place to stay. Breakfast not special.

Excellent stay, the evening meals are excellent although we find it hard to echo the views that the 'breakfasts are to die for'. The 'Madame' appears to do most of the admin whilst her other half sits in the lounge reading. But their son and his Vietnamese wife work hard in the restaurant and produce food of a very good...
