I was meeting friends for dinner in their excellent restaurant on a Saturday and didn’t want a one hour drive home afterwards, so this was an ideal stop. The welcome was wholehearted and genuine, the gardens charming, albeit with some rather dubious “works of art” scattered around. The rooms are simple but adequate and given the area, not unreasonably priced. The €15 continental breakfast was excellent - I particularly liked the Violet Syrup offered with the yoghurt, the home made jams and the superb croissant.
What a lovely hotel with service that is far beyond any expectation of even a five star hotel . This hotel is run by the couple who own it , and nothing is too much trouble for them , from driving you to a restaurant, cooking you an omelette at 11.30 because you missed breakfast and taking so much pride in their charming rural hotel. Pretty rooms well furnished with air conditioning , swimming pool and elegant garden . Stay here if you are in the area you will be pleased you did !
We had 2 nights here as attending a school reunion in the village so it was recommended as an option for us to use. So pleased we booked! We arrived early at 9.30 on our check in day due to a very early flight from the UK. We were welcomed warmly and advised they would endeavour to have our room prepared early. We were given refreshments to have in the lovely gardens and our luggage popped away safely. We were also offered the opportunity to use the pool and towels handed out. We were more than happy to go off and explore but within 15 minutes we were shown to our room! Amazing service thank you. The room was outstanding, large with dressing area, bathroom and a separate toilet which we thought was great. Gorgeous balcony with stunning view and sunshine all day. Chairs, table and parasol provided. We used the pool several times during our stay from 08.00 for pre breakfast swim to late in the day after a hot trip out. Towels at the pool and no fuss about changing them. I initially thought breakfast was a little pricey as the room was priced in the higher end, however the terrace was so inviting we decided to try it. We were not disappointed, fresh orange juice, yoghurt and fruit, pastries and bread with lots of tea/coffee options. We took our time to eat and were never rushed and had options for extras, not needed though! We opted to have breakfast on our second day too as it was a lovely experience. We loved the local area and plan to stay again next year, thank you. …
Just spent night here whilst attending a wedding in Grasse. Room ok. Pool not open before 9am so no pre breakfast swim. Breakfast average and not included in Euro 192 room rate. Euro 15 per person for breakfast extra. Non smily waitress. In all poor value.
We really loved the hotel when we visited last summer, particularly the pool, which is still great. However we found that - in contrast to last year - the quality of the rooms and service somewhat decreased. Neither was it as tranquil as we remembered. Plus, in our opinion, the breakfast is average at best. There is room for improvement...
