Stayed in Lakeview Suite. My wife and I were with our two teenage girls. The two rooms in the suite and the two bathrooms worked out very well. Each room had its own TV also. My wife and I had privacy and the girls were happy to have their own facilities. We rented a small pontoon boat . It worked...

Stirling Lodge in Newboro, ON is a lovely venue for lunch or dinner. The front porch was cool and refreshing with all of the greenery. We waited there for our group to congregate before entering the dining area. Our group of 15 were seated in the sun porch. It was a very hot day, but the air conditioning kept us...

Yes we had another great stay at Stirling Lodge. The staff is very friendly & cordial. The Moss Cliff Cabin was spotless & the food superb. Extra kudos to Hanya, Kristin & Abby. Their service in the dining room is worth their weight in gold. You will not be disappointed or ever hungry....

We were houseboating for a week and stopped at the Newboro locks for an overnight stay. Stirling Lodge was within walking distance and I had made a dinner reservation for the three of us since it was my birthday. The staff was very friendly especially Hanya our server. Our dinners were hot, and the portions were decent. They even brought...

My bride and I were just out for a drive and we got hungry so we decided to try something we had never had before. Were it not for how long we had to wait for our order to be taken and the the long wait to receive our meals, the service may have gotten a better rating. Staff is...

My crew of friends have made Stirling Lodge a destination for many years. The place is an awesome place to go to relax and enjoy. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The Resturant is excellent, who can turn down a prime rib dinner cooked to perfection on Saturday night and the daily Heman breakfast of Eggs, FrenchToast, Sausage and Hashbrows....

This may be our list trip to Stirling - the place is getting really rundown and needs tons of repairs but none seem to get done. Dead and dying trees abut the cabins, docks are falling apart, and the food has gotten worse and worse. If you don't specifically ask for condiments like fries or chips with your sandwich at...

I came here with my husband, sister and dog in August- and wasn't sure what to expect. As soon as we arrived, I knew we would be in for a treat! We stayed in the Silver Birch and had a great view overlooking the lake. Although our cabin was slightly dated, they have everything you need (including a really strong...
