I am not sure what the terrible reviews were commenting on but clearly it wasn't the B and B at Wilsham Farm. My wife Polly and I have just got through the door at home for a fantastic long weekend at the Farm. Richard was extremely welcoming and could not be more hospitable. He clearly explained everything, tour of the...

What a wonderful welcome. Richard is a truly charming host and so knowledgeable about the area and passionate about the countryside. Jane is a fantastic cook and the flapjacks in our room are to die for and far too good. The walks in this part of Exmoor are easily accessible. So good we have already booked again!

Have just returned from a five night stay at this B&B. Let's start with the "ups":- The Wisham is in a great location for visiting Exmoor and has wonderful views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Our room (Long Pool) was large and with an upstairs en-suite which was quite quirky but a little impractical with no door and no...

This B&B is in a great location for walking from the door and for visiting North Devon and Somerset attractions. Very friendly and welcoming host. Our room - Watersmeet- was spacious and very clean, with good quality furnishings. Breakfast was excellent and homemade bread and marmalade, plus eggs virtually laid on the spot. The pool was clean and very welcome...

We stayed in the self catering cottage which was clean spacious and so peaceful. Breakfast in the main house was very good with home produced fruits, preserves and delicious bread. We were made to feel very welcome and would highly recommend.

Spent three nights here with the wife. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly Richard, who could not do enough to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. You will find: A fantastic, tasty cooked breakfast with eggs fresh from the farm. Flapjacks to die for in a magic jar in the room (it's full again when...
