Visited Seven Oakes June 22'. Thoroughly enjoyed Change Islands and all of the folks we met there. The inn is a step back to an earlier time, a wonderful time. Beulah (the innkeeper/owner is wonderful; she is everyone's loving grandma.

Beulah was an amazing host. Her homemade breads and jams and her meals were like going to my grandmas on Sunday. Her house was very nice and spacious, with amazing views from the deck that we enjoyed the 2 nights we stayed. We also had a great time listening to some of her stories, very entertaining. I would certainly return to stay here again, it was a very unique experience.

This is a lovely restored house with excellent hospitality and food on the scenic Change Islands. We have stayed there many times. There is an excellent hiking train "Squid Jigger", a most interesting local museum and excellent scenes of fishing activity. Most highly recommended.

We spent two weeks traveling around Newfoundland and stayed with Beulah at her Seven Oaks B&B. By far this was one of our fondest memories of our trip. Beulah is a warm hearted lady that will care for you like your grandmother did. She is always cooking and checking on your needs. We spent two days there but we could have stayed longer. The big historic house is clean, comfortable, with great views out every window. You seldom run on to these wonderful vacation locations that are relaxing and peaceful as this. Beulah is gem, someone we will never forget. John and Linda

What a beautiful place. The owner, Beulah Oakes goes out of her way to please her guest. Unbelievable great home cooked meals with fresh homemade bread. Can tell you everything you need to know about the Island. Certainly a five star inn.

This is our current favorite place in Newfoundland. It is clean, quiet, and friendly with a wonderful view of the Change Islands waters. Home cooked meals are great. The hostess is a classic. You must bring your own alcoholic beverages. Change islands is small but very photogenic. Be sure to visit Peter's museum. They will take checks but not credit cards.

We have stayed at 7 Oakes for many summers. It is a great get away quiet place. There is a good hiking trail the Squid Jigger, and a most interesting local museum. The scenery is great with many ice bergs the last several years, but the hospitality and food are greater.

Seven Oaks is a great experience. The rooms are spacious, squeaky clean, and quiet. The view is great. But the best part is the friendly staff and hostess. The building is an older one lovingly restored. Change Islands are representative of a true outport with picturesque stages and stores. Be sure to see Peter's museum and visit the visitor's center. Be sure to walk the Squid Jiggers trail. Day trips to Fogo are possible (if the ferries are behaving). The dinners are great, true Newfoundland sea food. Highly recommended.

Our family of 6 stayed at the Seven Oakes Inn for two nights. The kids were uncomfortable staying at a Bed and Breakfast .... Until they met Beulah! What a wonderful experience we had. Beulah made us feel we were visiting Grandma's house. Strong, warm and loving woman! She has created a beautiful escape with lovely rooms and the best home cooking. Everything was so clean and fresh - especially the food. Beulah is an exceptional woman who has won our hearts forever. We highly recommend making time to stay at the Seven Oakes Inn - everyone should be so blessed to to be her guest while experiencing the beauty of Change Islands. If you are feeling a little home sick and in need of some comfort you will find it here! Thank you Beulah - you made our visit to Newfoundland !
