Driving along route 132 you'll be happy to find this nice motel right across the road from the beach.
The four of us spent one night in two of the 9 simple but comfortable units with 2 double beds,TV, fridge, a small table and armchair. The bathroom window opening on the back ensured a quiet sleep.
There is no breakfast offered on site but a couple restaurants a few minutes walk away.

I liked this little town nestled in the mountains on the coast, and the manager was terrific. The parking lot is a lawn, which I found very restful after a long day. The room is very big for this type of motel with an excellent bed. The bathroom was not as good: no counter space and a shower so small that you can’t get out of the stream of water. The toilet is very low with a huge toilet paper dispenser in the way. If you have someone in your group who is mobility impaired, go somewhere else.

The room has a small CRT television, but an astronomical number of channels. I didn’t find any from the US. There is no Wi-Fi in the room to the far end. You will have to go to the office or ask for a room with a low number. No clock radio either. And no air conditioning, which will be a problem in hot weather.

I do have to warn you about mosquitoes. They were bad, and there were many in the room. Even the high wind when I was there didn’t stop them. There were quite a few in the room, and the bites I got itched for eight days. I don’t know when or for how long this variety is active.

All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Scooper47’s Top Tip: Please do NOT follow the advice below about going into Gaspésie National Park the back way (i.e. directly from here). I discussed it with the park personnel, and they strongly discouraged me. It takes an hour and a half and is all gravel with no cell phone reception, potentially many big animals to hit, and little traffic. Take 132 to Sainte-Anne-des-Monts and head south. Longer distance, but 15 minutes less driving time.

We were looking for a bed and a shower after a multi day hike through Le Parc Gaspesie and locals recommended this place. It was just what we were looking for and more! Rooms overlook the Gulf and are right across the road from the beach. Rooms have a fridge and coffee maker. Plenty of towels, clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended!!
