A fantastic lodge with an unparalleled view into the Kruger Park. Nature at it's best with charming hosts! If you want to see the game-rich southern Kruger Park, as well as the many other attractions in the area, this is the place to stay.

Hi Luba, I am delighted to hear that you have enjoyed your stay with us. I appreciate your remark regarding the rooms on ground level with direct access through big sliding doors into the bush and to the river. Although the rooms upstairs have a lovely view over the river and the Kruger Park, you will have zebra, kudu, warthog,...

We stayed in Bushwise safari lodge for a few nights, it's in a great location right on the edge of the Kruger National Park. There's a walking trail right in front of the lodge that follows along the edge of the Crocodile River, we saw a surprisingly large amount of wildlife here in the afternoon - elephants, giraffe, hippos, zebra...

Warm greetings from a very hot bushveld, We had some lovely rains last night and all the animals are excited and happy, running around and playing in the garden today. Thanks so much for explaining to future guests what they can expect when visiting us here at Bushwise. Thank you also for your kind words about our staff, I will...

Lots of animals to see just around the place. Friendly staff. Nice views from the pool upstairs. Rooms are very comfortable. The location is a bit remote but that is part of the charm. Would stay there again.

Hi there, You are so right, we are very fortunate to live in such a remote area in the middle of the African bush untouched by the huzz and buzz of the city. A few days here at Bushwise are food for the soul. Thank you for your lovely review. Annette

Took my 7 year old daughter to Bushwise for 4 nights along with my Uncle and we had a wonderful time. Annette and Tim were friendly, helpful, relaxed and flexible with our choice of activities. Viljoen our guide was really knowledgeable and clearly passionate about Kruger and its animals. We saw over 40 species in 3 days. The whole feeling...

Having stayed at a private lodge in the Kruger Park on a previous visit I was interested to see how Bushwise compared? I was travelling with a niece and her daughter after a family event elsewhere in South Africa. She (my niece) had found Bushwise via an Internet search and felt that it would be more affordable than some of...

Everything was great! Customer service top notch! Volume - the guy who runs it is very good! Though it is 20 min to crocodile gates the location is great - awesome views of Kruger and you see some wild life right from your balcony or from the trail along the Kruger fence. We even saw lions from the path! Food...

Hi there, I think I told you before your visit that we are living in paradise, I am sure you believe me now. I will definitely tell Viljoen (our guide) that you were impressed with his guiding skills. Until after that flash then... Annette

We loved our stay at Bushwise Safaris. The room was beautiful and clean. Great long beds (very important for my husband who is 1.95 m). The food: breakfast and dinner very good. We went with Biljoen (I hope this is written correctly) for a game drive in the Kruger Park, saw the big 5 twice. We will come back. Thanks...

What a beautiful spot on the border of the park with views over the crocodile river where we saw lion, elephant, hippo giraffe and more without even crossing into the park! Hosts pulled out the stops and saved my bacon when we hit held up at the Mozambican border. We will be back! Thanks Tim and Annette!
