Stayed at the fountain purely by chance and I'm so glad I did I could not have had a better stay, was working in the area for a couple of days, three of us did a very late booking and all three of us have agreed we would book again Lisa and her team was very friendly, breakfast set us up for the day and the garden was a joy for a couple of cheeky beers when we finished work. All in all highly recommend five star hotel at a very reasonable price. We will be back.
Great location, brilliant owners and staff, great food. This is truly a gem on the outskirts of Tenbury Wells which is rapidly becoming a bohemian enclave. Great cafe’s independent shops, little antique shops up mysterious alleys. The Fountain offers everything for a short break, many places to visit, the nearest are historic towns of Ludlow, or Leominster. I love the accommodation, it is very clean, warm and just like home from home. MAKE SURE YOU BOOK IN THE RESTAURANT OR YOU MAY BE DISAPPOINTED.
Had been up to campsite to camp for 2 nights but storm Francis struck, snapping our tent poles and giving us both fibre glass splinters. Phoned the Inn who were really friendly. We had our dog with us but not an issue, all rooms dog friendly. Room was basic but clean with view over pub garden. In the style of motel rooms, served its purpose and a good night sleep.
Didn't really live up to what it promised. Fairly small rooms in an annex block, very hot but no fans in the room. Small bathroom, not very suitable for 2 people. You get what you pay for but this wasn't even that cheap. The food at the restaurant was better value. My overall impression was just average, no better.
Recently stayed 3 nights whilst working in the greater area. The room was superb, very roomy and spacious, fresh plush carpet and pleasant decoration. Facilities ample and easy parking for vehicles. The cooked breakfasts were delicious each and every day. We ate dinner at the pub too, and service was excellent. My only criticism was the lack of choice of vegetables for the menu, and portions of peas smaller than the portions of chips - which should be at least equal for health in my opinion! Also, much to my disappointment there were no pies on the menu, which I feel would be a welcome dish. The exterior of the venue is lovely and the festoon lights and waterfeatures make it cosy at dusk. I will definitely be returning here for a future stay, be it work or leisure. Fresh vegetables and pies on the menu peas ;)…
