Just home from staying here this weekend and could not fault anything. The hotel is beautiful inside and out, the staff are lovely and make you feel very much at home. The food is so yummy and well presented. We have stayed here a few times before and always feel so relaxed when we are there. The hotel is beautiful...

Lovely country hotel with good views and gardens. A quiet, peaceful setting. You relax, with a drink, in a comfortable hall full of character while you wait to be called to the dining room. A small cosy dining room where you don't feel rushed. Staff very pleasant and helpful and a beautifully cooked lunch. The Lamb and Pork were very...

A roaring fireplace, trophies of the hunt, a grand staircase, and overstuffed seating are the first things you see in the great room, but sit there a little longer and you'll notice so much more. This was a surprise for us as part of a tour. We stayed two nights in the coach house with a well-appointed bathroom, sitting room,...

Beautiful hotel full of character with wonderful relaxed atmosphere - we could almost have been in an Agatha Christie novel but without having to dress up for dinner! Staff were all friendly and helpful and although some were clearly quite new and inexperienced we still had a great time and weren't put out by a few small mishaps. Our small...

My wife and I booked afternoon tea at this hotel having been recommended it by others. It was our first visit. We booked in advance by telephone and received a friendly confirmation E mail. We found the hotel to be peaceful, historic and very comfortable, the young staff were friendly and not intrusive at all. After a short time viewing...

I will say the wifi only really worked in the main room but atleast it worked there. We all decided that Scotland has some problems with wifi fo some...

This hotel is a friendly country house hotel. The lounge area is actually the great hall with a roaring fire - even on a hot day. Very low key with sofas and easy chairs. Room was good although I am not a fan of 4 poster beds it was reasonably comfortably but I would have preferred a harder mattress. Bathroom...

Very comfortable Scottish hunting lodge style of hotel in beautiful Perthshire setting. Peacefull surroundings. The accommodation is excellent - en suite bedroom immaculate. We were there for a wedding which was well organised. The dance floor was small but quite adequate for 60+ guests. The food presented both for the wedding and for the following day breakfast was just right...

Stayed at the hotel over the weekend for my mums wedding. Beautiful country setting with a lovely garden around the hotel. Hotel was quirky and homely with its open fire in the hall. Xhosa (owner) and all the staff provided excellent customer service. Suzi went the extra mile on the wedding day. Food was excellent and huge portions. Rooms were...
