I am staying here while I am working in the area. The staff are very good, the rooms are ok, the gym and pool are great, but what makes this hotel stand out for me is the quality of the food. I have spent 8 nights here, and have another 15 to go (not continuous), and every meal I have...

visited this hotel a year ago, returned as I was in the area on business, still a nice place, had the salmon special, I do like the food here, breakfast is always good, service in the bar was not great, had to keep looking for the bar man. Room was adequate, all in all good visit, will return.

This was actually the 3rd Hotel within the group that we have visited in the past 2 weeks and as with all the other (reviews to follow) the hotel and location were lovely as were the staff but the food was atrocious. We had dinner on our 1st night and I haven't seen anything like it for years. The main...

I was a guest at a wedding over the weekend at this hotel. The building is attractive and well staffed, but there were a number of issues. Firstly, my disabled mother was made to walk a long way through several rooms and corridors to access the function rooms, and the only disabled toilet on the ground floor was quite a...

Staff went out of their way to assist with my needs, they even notified me that I had left my lights on in my car and saved a flat battery. Had a lovely dinner with excellent lamb well done chef Greg.

Very comfortable hotel with a well equipped room with lamps, desk, drinks table, lounge chair, TV (of course), bar fridge, tea making facilities, iron and board, WiFi and an oversized clock in the bathroom for clock-watchers. The hotel, set on an enormous parkland property, has excellent facilities with bar, pool, gymnasium and an outdoor area with tables and chairs for...

We booked our two day stay through booking.com but unfortunately the hotel has cheaper charges if you book nearer the time of stay. So, although booked last year, our stay this February in a basic double was about £40 dearer than a very recent offer of an executive room so it does not always pay to book ahead. We lost...

I stayed at Milton Hill last summer ( July 2016 ) for one night. The weather was beautiful so I spent lots of time enjoying the grounds with a good book and later in the day used the pool and gym facilities. There was only one other guest using the facilities so it felt like a personal gym and pool!...

Stayed here for a weekend away and thoroughly loved it. Don't often eat in the hotel my entire stay but the food especially greg's specials were incredible. Nice hotel, decent pool and facilities. I'd definitely recommend a stay

We had a one night stay here, for a wedding that was close by in the countryside. I booked a manor room directly with the hotel. On arrival, around 1pm, we were grateful to be able to check in a bit early but that was the only positive - the girl checking us in was very unfriendly and seemed put...
