It is a beautiful hotel to stay in on a ski trip to Ryuoo Ski resort. It is 5 mins away from the Station and Shuttle bus to the ski resort. The hotel staff there have been kind and wonderful. The breakfast was very good. There is not much restaurants around, so I would

Amazing and caring staff that even provided us shoes when we went to see the Snow Monkeys, and prepare a vegetarian breakfast for us. Their onsen and public bath facilities on the fifth floor are stunning and have views of the Japanese alps. Don't miss out on this hotel, easily

Its a japanese ryokan with japanese hospitality. The hotel has private onsen which was clean and has a good view of the surrounding. I really enjoy the onsen in which they have 1 indoor big pool, 2 small tubs and 1 medium size tub which i really like as it is outdoor and open

Hotel Tsubakino is one of the best accommodations I have stayed in that won’t empty a bank account. It also is a great choice while visiting the Snow Monkeys. It all starts from check-in, where you are taken into the dining room for tea while you fill out your check in

Yes, you can leave your luggages at the hotel and go to straight to the park. That's what we did. I'm not sure if there's locker at Yudanaka station.

The most common way to get go the monkey park is the public bus from the bus terminal at Yudanaka station, 3 minute walk from the hotel. Get off at 'kanbayashi onsen' or 'snow monkey park' bus stop after a 15 minute ride. Then from the bus stop, walk along a pathway about another 30 minutes. We are happy to give the bus schedule at the hotel. Pay admissin fee at the entrance of the park; No reservation is needed. Kohei

Sorry paulsa60 for not being unable to be helpful. In case some other viewers were wondering how to book Western style twin bed rooms, -- we have 3 of them -- try Japanese booking sites such as Rakuten Travel and Jalan, both of which have their English pages. Or, you can directly contact us from the link at the top of this page. Hope this helps. Kohei
