We, two couples, stayed 2 nights at Biyu no Yado ryokan and loved it. It was the highlight of our 3-week holiday in Japan. The ryokan offers a free shuttle to/from the station although it is also walkable, though it is uphill from the station.
This was our first time staying at

We stayed for two nights and had an amaizing experience 👍. Everyone was very friendly and we had a member of staff (a lovely beautiful Filipino girl Irish 😀) with a very good level of English looking after us at breakfasts and dinners, who made sure we had everything we needed.

Hi, how can I get to ryuoo ski park from your ryokan? We wonder if the ski park will be open in mid December? Will there be other ski parks nearby for my kids in mid December that are easy to get to from your ryokan?
We really do apologize for replying so late on your message. Thank you for inquiring. Unfortunately, our shuttle bus will notbe able to send you to Ryuo Skii Park but there are bus schedule from the station(Yudanaka station). From the hotel, our shuttle bus will send you off to the station. From the station, you will take the bus and it will take 30mins from the station to the Ryuo Skii Park. Thank you. Sincerely, Irish, Biyunoyado Staff

Does this hotel provide laundry service?
Is there an additional charge for use of the private onset? If so, how much is it? Also how long does it take to walk to Shibu Onsen? Thank you
Hi there. The private onsen was included in our room and we didn't have to pay any extra. We went for a walk around the towns and shibu was only a short walk away - 15-20 minutes to the far end. Hope you have a good time
