Please be aware if your trip is impacted by Covid they may not refund you. An advisor told me I would but when I checked on how the refund was progressing they denied all knowledge. 20+ calls, numerous emails. They tell you that they will call you back and refer you to websites.
We visited Les Arcs in August with two teenagers. 1950 resort is the most upmarket. Plenty of activities put on during the week but probably more geared towards younger children. Suggest reserving MTBs before you come as we missed out which was a real shame. Pierre vacancies was very nice. Only complaint is that the large pool strongly smelled of urine. No staff around so not sure how well maintained it is during the summer. Big disappointment for us that we couldn’t use the pool during the heatwave.
We were lucky to be here before hell broke loose. Our apartment was a duplex with 3 comfortable rooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. Not such a spacious living room but good enough. The big advantage of this village is the fact that everything is so close. You have shops, bars, restaurants,...all at a walking distance and...NO CARS ALLOWED. And of course Les Arcs is a great place to ski. We'll be back anyway.
This is a great place to ski. Sometimes, though, accommodation takes the edge off. Not here. Pierre & Vacances have created something special. Lovely rooms, well kept and stocked. Great facilities - and staff who could not be more welcoming or helpful. I highly recommend everything about Les Arcs 1950...and will be back as soon as I can!
Excellent family appartments, great standard, roomy and very clean. Location is perfect. Hotel staff are great and know their customers very well indeed. Would recommend !! The resort is well catered for skiers and boarders. Nice bars and Resturants, supermarket is pricey but not overly so.
