Stayed here with my children, partner and dog booked last minute at 7pm for the same night and what an absolute pleasure it was greeted and made welcome from the off. The lady on reception asked what time for breakfast I answered 715am and that was no problem they were completely ready to meet every need. Breakfast was delicious will be spreading the word!!

The room was nice and clean and quiet and warm and it was very modern, the breakfast was also good. The staff were also very friendly. The only downside was that the bathrooms was a little on the small side.

Visited this place and met one of the owners Spencer and I found him very helpful. I had a look round and the place and it felt very homely and welcoming. Marple centre is a 5 minute walk away the train station to Manchester or Sheffield is about 300 yards away also there’s a canal not far for lovely walks. Also just around the corner is a fantastic Indian restaurant the best for miles around. See the pictures attached what you see is what you get set in a very quiet area with lovely grounds. It’s very reasonably priced and they do a full traditional English breakfast to set you up for the day. This is a little gem and if you decide to try it out you won’t be disappointed.

This guest house is full of character and original features. Lorraine is both friendly and helpful regarding the local area. Our garden room was ideal for us and for our dog as it had a separate entrance from the spacious and mature gardens. Great views from the dining room and a special mention for the beautifully cooked breakfast. Thank you so much from Dave, Sue and Monica Whippet

When you arrive at Oakfield Lodge, it is like going back to victorian times, with the decore. But this guest house is spotlessly clean, the room we had was massive and warm and Lorraine was very welcoming, accomodating and very helpful. The lodge is a 6/7 minute walk to Marple town centre. We will definately stay here again.
