We stayed here for 4 nights at beginning of June. Our room at the front of the hotel had a superb sea view. The location of the hotel is truly amazing, being only yards from the beach/sea. We enjoyed all our evening meals at the hotel and our cooked breakfasts too. The hotel was clean and the staff helpful and...

I had single room at the back - it was small but with a decent size bathroom. It was light and airy and very good value for money. Great service -the staff were friendly and helpful, it was very clean everywhere and all freshly painted. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of fresh fruit etc, lovely Welsh bacon...

This is a lovely bed and breakfast in a beautiful location. The family room was well appointed and equipped. The breakfast as excellent with plenty of choice beautifully cooked and presented. Our weekend break was marred by the noise from the bar on both the Saturday and Sunday evenings with the music being so loud that we could not sleep...

The location is to die for, let alone anything else! I rented the family room (for 4) and a double for a gang of 6 girls to stay on a walking weekend, the staff were happy, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is clean, fresh, up to date and welcoming and the beds are all comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a...

Nice afternoon lunch by the sea. The fish was ok but not fresh - you can tell by the colour of the cod. Nothing to shout about and barley avarage. The view is what make this place special its spectacular

Turned up on Saturday 23rd April and greeted by a smiling hosts Mike and Becky. First impressions are so impressive- a lovely cup of coffee on a huge window seat that looks out to sea- beautiful. Shown to my single room at 12 noon and have to say it was spotless with a lovely big TV on wall (to watch...

I first fell in love with the Pentre 16 years ago. It's a hidden gem, miles off the beaten track, down an almost dirt track which leads you to a seaside village. When I first took my son in 2012 aged 11, on turning off the main road after a 4 hour journey his said ' we could have got...

Traditional Easter coast walk, what better way to end it than at the Pentre Arms. Amazing views, brilliant food and great beer. Sunshine helps and no shortage of anything this year. Well done see you next year.

Visited for drinks and it was very busy but we managed to get seats at the bar and were served by friendly, polite staff. I ordered a glass of white Pinot Grigio which was a smaller measure bottle but other wines were available by the larger glass size. We visited mid afternoon but would like to revisit for an evening...
