We stayed in a wonderful tatami mat (traditional Japanese style) room which was very spacious with beautiful mountain views. Fantastic onsen including both indoor and outdoor baths. Excellent buffet breakfast with both delicious Japanese and more western options. Very well located, close to restaurants, shops and ski area. With regard to some reviewers saying the rooms are too warm, we...

Being used to the cramped accommodation of many aussie ski lodges our Western style room on the second floor was a bit of an eye opener in more ways than one. We had two large, incredibly comfortable western style single beds, a tatami mat sitting area and stunning views of Happo One - although this view would definitely be enhanced...

We booked this hotel 6 months ago and was not disappointed. We stayed in room 501 on the top floor which is a ryokan-style room and had the view of the snow-covered mountains. Beautiful view to wake up to! Hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Don't expect them to know every restaurant though, that's what the guide books are for!...

We were happy with the hotel location & facilities provided. We were cautioned that the rooms get very hot even with the air conditioner on low but it was good for drying our clothes and we just opened the window if we got too hot. There were a few little miscommunication issues but it can only be expected when we...

The hotel has good location for skiers as it is 6 minutes walk from slope , 12 minutes walk from bus terminal ,10 minutes taxi from downtown . The staff service is reasonable, but don't expect too much from them. They would recommend restaurants, but if you ask too many questions they would be impatient. They also provide shuttle bus...

We had a really nice stay at this hotel. It has a good restaurant and bar. The buffet breakfast is good with eggs and omelettes cooked to order. This hotel had a nice onsen. The lobby, bar and restaurant are recently refurbished. The Japanese rooms are large.

This is our first trip to Hakuba skiing. We are extremely impressed with the hotel. The staff are amazing and will go out of their way to assist you, we loved them all. They work very hard but were always so friendly. We chose a western style room and it looked straight onto Happo One skifield and was within walking...
