Small rooms very basic but with all you need even Kimono and slippers. Toilet very small and bath/ Shower just enough to fit small and thin people. We had a shower on the Onsen everyday ,that was great .

This was my second stay at Hotel De Laile - my first was in 2007 we returned almost 10 years on to the day.
Nothing about the hotel physically had changed... the rooms still looked the same, the keys still had the long gold chain...More
The hotel was in a great location for skiing at different venues in Hakuba. Walk out the back door and you are at Saka in a matter of minutes.
Hotel staff were very helpful and extremely friendly, regardless of their levels of English.
