For the price I paid it was 4 stars worthy. Dinner was buffet style with a huge variety. Quality was acceptable. The onsen was also good. Room was decently sized with tatami mats. Additional mattresses were available if you find it too thin. I had a sea view room. Breakfast was excellent with a large spread. After a night here...

This is the first time I travelled to Shirahama and I have been staying in this hotel for 2 nights. This is a traditional Japanese hotel with onsen, breakfast and dinner buffet. The room is large with sea view, clean and tidy. The breakfast and dinner buffet is acceptable. Unluckily, I have a terrible experience in my last night. I...

48 hours ago we had wanted to check into Yukai's other Shirahama resort, Senjo, a place this writer has been to seven times previously. This is still the very busy last days of the summer season, so Senjo was fully booked. Gyoen had a few rooms available so we took one (this hotel is currently fully booked). Hitherto, I prefer...

I enjoy theirs buffet and Onsen. The price is very reasonable for the package includes meals. If there is wifi in all rooms that would be perfect ,but only few places have wifi connection in the room in any other hotels around here anyway which is so behind but I like this place . I can recommend it for my...

Tiny, smelly rooms with almost no daylight (annex building). No private bathrooms. Does not seem to have been renovated since the sixties... Onsen is good. Nothing to complain about. Breakfast/dinner room has no atmosphere at all, staff is friendly and helpful, however. English is somewhat of a challenge. Selection of food is ok.

The cheapest hot spring hotel in Shirahama Spa town, if not mistaken. They offered a flat rate all year round depending on which package that you choose. Dinner and breakfast is provided and its buffet style. Room for triple sharing is spacious. There is even a balcony overlooking the sea. There is also open air bath. But when we visited...
