First to talk a bit about myself, I had visited Japan for 6 times. I have ryokan experiences in Kyushu Yufuin, Beppu and Tohoku Hakone-- I can say that I have a high standard for ryokans.

However, out of all my ryokan experiences in Japan, Bokoro Ryokan easily comes to the best ryokan I ever stayed.

One word "Exceptional" can describe this ryokan. Everything about the unique Japanese culture can be expereinced at the same time feeling highly welcomed by the kind staff members.

Service... I mean it can't get any better than this. The staffs there couldn't speak English too well but there was zero problem in communicating. The manager spoke English really well and have helped us in so many ways in such sincere kindness. For example, he have walked all the way to show us where the hot spring is and how to get there. I could understand what people mean by the unique Japanese hospital from the Bokoro ryokan experience.

Food... kaiseki (Japanese...
