Incredible location. Watched the sun set from our beach front campervan. Camping facilities (as you'd expect) but overpriced for what you get.. stopping it from being 5 stars. Guess you gotta pay for that view. Minor point: Breakfast = terrible

If you have a group (or just you), who want a get-away in a very interesting accommodation, this place is for you. A beautifully ornamented Yurt holds 6 people ( I think). Right outside you can hear waves crash on rocks all night long. When you visit, you can take tours around the art island. many good points of interest.

We stayed in a yurt in the bitter cold but it was warm inside with a heater and doona The onset was lovely and the brisk short walk outside was fine and invigorating We had a delicious shabby shabby meal prepared by a local chef who catered for our vegetarian daughter. Staff were polite and able to communicate well to...

Stayed in a very spacious Mongolian yurt on our first night in Naoshima. The proximity to the beach allows travellers to fall asleep to the sound of waves, without having to actually camp out. The yurt is very private, and also can get surprisingly warm with the help of the gas heater. Cold nights/thin walls were not an issue at...

Highly recommend. It was so picturesque and relaxing. We had rented electric bikes and cycled around to it, it was about a 20 minute ride from the ferry. Close to Benesse House Museum. We stayed in a Pao Tent. Sound of the waves lapping at the shore was very relaxing. Comfortable and warm beds. Order the Japanese style breakfast at...

After some days travelling around Japan, this is the ideal place to have some rest and enjoy nature in a slower pace of life. We stayed two nights in the trailer in two adults and two children. It’s a bit small, but could accommodate us conveniently in a bunk bed and a twin bed. It has a fridge and air...

We were only on Naoshima Island one night and figured we'd take a chance on this yurt place since the Benesse House was full up (and expensive!). There were three of us so we had our own yurt with four single beds: we used the fourth one as a place for our suitcases. This was the most spacious place we...

We stayed for two nights at Tsutsuji-so in a lodge. It was quite a change from the western style hotels we stayed in so far. But we enjoyed our stay very much. Waking up in the morning with the sea next door, what's not to like :) Plus, it is conveniently placed next to a busstop, the yellow pumpkin and...

We have spend 2 nights in a Japanese lodge. View from your room straight to the sea. With nice breakfast, and a wonderful BBQ dinner. Further you can reserve here a yurt tent, for bigger groups, or caravans for the camping experience. Next to a busstop and the Benesse complex.

There didn't seem to be many accommodation options when we were looking into staying on Naoshima Island. We looked into Benesse House which seemed quite pricey and then a friend recommended Tsutsujiso and we are so pleased that they did! We stayed there as part of our honeymoon and opted for a yurt on night one and then a cottage...

“The trailer was quite small, we barely had room for two people to be getting ready or moving around at once. The bunk beds were not tall person friendly, but we were able to turn the couch into a full size bed. The heater unit was good.”
