We had a wooden house with traditional tatami rooms and a private balcony overlooking the sea. As usual in Japan they provide Yukata for the dinner and the visit to the onsen. The Sunrise view from the room was wonderful. Quiet location, tremendous dining experience. The dinner was a seven course meal and was delicious. You have naturally to love...

Kuroshio Honkin is a ryokan by the sea, with rooms offer stunning views of the ocean. The establishment has just 11 rooms, and the wooden floors give a relaxed feel. The ryokan’s specialty is its outdoor onsen which uses seawater. The soak is really refreshing and leaves your skin so smooth! But a warning to those with small cuts or...

We had a traditional tatami room with a private balcony overlooking the sea. Sunrise view from the room was wonderful. Quiet location, excellent dining experience and the front desk staff were very welcoming to us as foreign tourists, though they spoke no English. The outdoor onsen was even cool enough to get into.
