Hotel was really good when you consider value for money. Service was nice, bathroom was ok, view on a sea- great, close to the port, located in the old town. Good AC, climatic, romantic, worth recommending.

I'm going to have to use some restraint here because, well, I could go off for hours on how bad it was. First the positives. The room with the private balcony is great and relaxing, with million dollar views. The positives end there. Upon arriving, there was no one available to check us in and we had to call and...

This was most definitely the most depressing place I have stayed. We booked it through hotel.com and booked a room with a balcony or terrace. On arrival we were shown to a room in the sister b&b la lacandiera which is a street back from the front (uphill). It would appear that it doesn't matter which b&b you book the...

We spent four nights at Le Piccole Grotte. We booked online via Hotels.com and booked the superior double room at 75 euro per night first week of September 2015. The room that we received was on the ground floor, with a small balcony and narrow sea views. This is not the room shown on the website. So be aware all...

Good conveniently located hotel. In the middle between two beaches of Scilla. Conditioner, big rooms. Around there are a lot of restaurants, bars. Features: 1. The reception in hotel isn't present, it in La Locanderia (up a ladder on the neighboring street) 2. A breakfast also in La Locanderia. There are 2 remarks to the hotel: 1. The mini-kitchen is...

I would highly recommend Le Piccole Grotte. We were met by our host, Aldo in the parking area and escorted to the B&B. He showed us to our spacious room with a balcony on the sea. He recommended a restaurant for dinner which was lovely. The room was very comfortable and they brought breakfast right to our door. Situated in...

Fabulous small town, could be compared to the better know area of the towns at Cinque Terre, however this one actually has its building foundations in the ocean. Many of the houses are separated by only 2 metres to allow for a wooden fishing boat to be beached when not in use. Our hotel has two establishments, we cant speak...

We stayed at Le Piccole Grotto and had a room on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the sea which was wonderful and relaxing. The location is stunning. There was a small bar next door where you could also buy antipasti, wine and beer. However, the service int the hotel was less than fantastic, there was a bin full of...

As with most of Italy, you need to be in pretty good shape to get to Le Piccole Grotte. Aldo, the proprietor, is quite busy and will transport your bags with golf cart if you can find him. But, the property is wonderful, the view from our room was outstanding. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed every moment. The breakfast...

My mother and I stayed here when we visited Scilla for the first time in July, on our way back from Sicily. It was more than we could have hoped for. I have never stayed at a place so close to the sea- we liked to listen to the water hitting the shore while we were dozing off to sleep....

“When you book, ask for the upper hotel, 3rd level with ocean view. There are two rooms & one has a much larger balcony. The great part was that this village appears to have NOT been discovered by other tourists as yet. We were one of the few non local people yet over the hill the beaches were crowded.”
