The Ritz Hotel is a sports/gambling venue in Hurstville. It has a bar and bistro setup. The food is usual bistro fare(eg burgers, fish and chips). It is okay but not exceptional, The service was a little off hand, but the biggest distraction is the noise.Only come here if you are a 'sports nut'. The place is dominated by big screens...

A hotel with a funny name in Hurstville which still serves traditional pub meals which are OK .The interior could do with a good clean up .Cigarette smoke wafts in from the smoking area outside to the dining area. The current cook does a good meal with plenty of vegetables. Worth visiting in off peak hours , not when UFC or...

Not many wonderful things I can say. 20 years past a refurb. Dirty. Little hot water. Tired. The only good thing is that the hype was little and I didn't believe it anyway, so I wasn't disappointed. The location is handy to, um, a train station and not much else actually. It reminded me of cheap accommodation in the Cross...

Can see why there are no photos of rooms on website now. Rooms are pretty cheap for Sydney but considering location of these probably not that good a deal. Rooms are old and run down and considering the amount of gambling that goes on down stairs you would think they could afford to do them up. There is a sign...

Went in for a quiet beer and some nibbles and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food that came out! Ordered the lamb shank pot pie which was priced reasonably with some vegies. The order did not take long at all and the meal was simply delicious. Definitely restaurant quality. Will definitely return!

I have to say thank you, as I feared I had to sleep on a bench. Also this night I had not planned and every hotel I passed was fully booked. So I feared this hotel might be a risk. But I had no choice. For the same money I stayed in much better places. Room was small, no light...

The hotel is located in a central part of Hurstville, very close to the station, shops and restaurants. The room we had was rather small with only a sliding door to the bathroom. It is poorly decorated and in need of refurbishment - the wear and tear made it look rather dirty, but this was certainly not the case. The...

Review is more for pub - Don't rely on this lot for watching sport, I called during day to check they had Setanta and would put on for 915pm game. They said yes. I arrived at 855pm and they said yes will put on for you at 915pm (but couldn't put on sooner). At 915pm, not enough bar staff so...
