both casa susegad and loutolim village occupy a vast space in my heart. loutolim itself is probably the most laid back place i have ever visited, its pace of life is very slow. a stark contrast to most other places i have been to in...More
My sister and I recently stayed in Casa Susegard and I couldn't fault it at all. It was like a dream!
We were met at the airport by Ramdas' smiling face and half an hour later rolled up to the beautiful house - where Felicidade...More
Previous reviews say it all. This was our first visit to India and we were not disappointed. We stayed for a full two weeks and met so many lovely and interesting guests, which made us feel part of Norman and Carole's big extended family. We...More
Norman, Carole and the staff make this a really gorgeous stay - added to which the house and setting are beautiful. Was worried about distance from beach - but a 20-30 min drive through lovely countryside got us there and gave a taste of village/town...More

We'd love to look after you for as long as you can possibly stay! We are situated in the very heart of Goa, so if you want to explore further then Ramdas, or one of our other trusted village drivers, can take you all over this beautiful state very easily.
Joanita and our lovely kitchen team are gifted in the preparation of Goan, Indian and world cuisine, often designing fusion dishes like hand made ravioli stuffed with local Goan sausage served with a rich tomato sauce.... One of our most recent creations is a dairy free cream, made with cashew nuts and our own home grown organic coconut oil. We aim to delight every palate.
We have recently begun accompanied walks into the forest behind the house. This complements mooching around the village lanes, giving a fine overview of country living. Cool off by the pool, enjoy a cocktail or three, hang out with a few of our cats and dogs, gossip with other guests and learn to excel in the Art of Elegant Idleness.
Do let us know anything else we can help you with. What month are you hoping to visit?
Warmest regards, Carole and Norman xx
