I came to Hotel Balance for a yoga retreat, in May 2016. Everything about this place was wonderful! The food was outstanding, the staff attentive and everything was done with intention. The rooms were lovely and very welcoming. The yoga room with big windows was divine. Thankyou Ricky & Roland I'll be back soon

Nestled into the mountainside, this is the most beautiful looking hotel when covered with snow. Love the use of wood in the rooms, just blends perfectly. When I return soon for another week I can't wait to see these natural timbers surrounded by predominately green countryside and colourful flowers. Ricky and Roland are the most welcoming, warm and friendly hosts...

Rooms are also very nice, mine was very spacious and so quiet at nighttime. Lots and lots of food available at...

These folks really know about Balance in this quiet mountain retreat. I've been visiting proprietors Ricky & Roland's hotel, often for workshops, for almost 15 years. What can I say-- healthful, real attention to quality, quiet walks to the waterfall, cow bells in the distance, close to skiing.... The Hotel Balance is a prototypical Swiss family lodge that uses modern...

“The highest rooms are probably the best, not only because of views, but also as you won't be hearing the room above's plumbing.”

“If money is not a concern, the Junior Suite we stayed in is a great size, with a large balcony overlooking the garden and pool.”
