Stayed in Inchmalloch for October half term and couldn't have asked for better accommodation. The venue is fab with great views out to the bay. The dark skies really were a treat and mooching around the surrounding area was lovely for all three generations of us. Loved cooking in the big kitchen and the picture windows made it a pleasure....

This must be the 6th time visiting. Excellent all round. Aileen is such a lovely person, always willing to help and always with a smile. Relaxing and peaceful. The best places around to stay. Will be back again :)

We stayed at Mill Wheel Cottage for two weeks. On turning up, Aileen met us in her lovely cheerful way and show d us round the property and let us know how everything worked. Leaving us with a half dozen eggs from her own hens, a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates, we quickly settled in. The standard...

Simon, Samantha & Polo were warmly welcomed by Aileen after our 6 hour journey from Macclesfield, South Manchester. We quickly dashed to every window to find the Irish Sea to our left and Luce Bay to our right. Every room gave a 360 degree amazing view from being at the top of the hill. Chocolates, wine and the yellowest yoked...

Three members of our family had ran the rather horrendous spartan race the day before. So this was a great place in which to chill and lick our wounds. The accommodation and cooking facilities were all excellent.

My Aunt and Uncle have been staying at Kirkbride for a number of years and wanted to show the rest of the family why they loved it so much. WOW! The cottages are stunning, very accessible, are well appointed and have EVERYTHING you could ever need. As my Mum said, they are probably better than a lot of people's homes!...

This was our third stay at Kirkbride after a fairly lengthy absence and I must say the changes are fabulous! Although we had booked the Cotthouse, due to a slight hitch we ended up in Millwheel. Aileen could not have been more accommodating and welcoming and as usual, nothing was too much trouble. The Cotthouse now has its own little...

We stayed at Inchmalloch at the beginning of March. The house was magic, it really deserves the five stars. The location is stunning with fanastic views. The hospitality from Aileen and Matthew (owners) was like visiting family, we could not have been made more welcome. Kirkbride Farm is a jewel in the Galloway Crown. We will be back!

Just returned from a fantastic few days at Millwheel cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful, finished to an extremely high standard, it is very cosy and well equipped. My personal favourite was the woodburner that gives off such amazing heat and gives such a welcoming feel to the cottage. The surrounding scenery is magnificent, the views from all sides of...
