We were going to stay one night. The town, our rooms, the food were so wonderful that we stayed four nights. It really was like something out of a dream. We spent every evening on our balconies looking at the mountains. Our hosts and the food were fabulous! Would return in a second!

Our first time to Hotel Heimat. Comfortable, family run hotel. Had a room with balcony looking onto the Jungfrau, stunning! This is a far better hotel than it's 2 star rating. Food is varied, good and 5 course meal if on half-board. It is very clean , shower room and toilet a good size. All staff pleasant and helpful. We...

Our original hotel was fully booked so we were "downgraded" to this two star hotel. If this is what downgraded means then I will take it any time. There was a friendly welcome, a clean room with a beautiful balcony view across the mountains, nice bathroom and a very comfy bed. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the warm rolls. After the...

Was originally booked into another hotel in Wilderswil but due to overbooking was relocated to the Hotel Heimat. On arrival at this hotel I was met by the charming owner and her son and with there warming smiles made me feel very relaxed and welcomed.
