Such a nice old style hotel and restaurant with very friendly welcome, exellent staff and great meal! We loved the peace and tranquility of the place. Also the beautiful botanical garden, open and free to all. We will come again!!!

Inspite of the bad weather we spent a night in "gran'ma's hotel"! All hotel is decorated in the nostalgic style which gives a cozy and homy athmosphere! Even the 5 course dinner was served on nostalgic dishes and the food was excellent!

You can book online through their website. The prices are also online. You cannot park there -- you ride the train or hike up from Wilderswil. There is free wi-fi. I don't know about halal but there are many Muslim travelers... More
